INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD.

I love grey hair, I have always loved it . Growing up I admired older women with grey hair and would always pray to grow grey hair on time. I don’t have any white/grey hair yet and given my parents precedent, I don’t think I will be having any soon.

If by chance I grow grey hair soon, it’s not natural, it’s my boys fault. We are at the “why” face and its crazy. Imagine two boys following me around asking why? Nonstop all day long. For every answer there is a mind twisting, brain fogging why question.
Sometimes I am tempted to give them the kind of answers I got as a child such as “ because Y has a long tail and two branches" or "because I am an adult and I say so", but I cant. Parenting materials that I have read says that It is wrong to shut children up at this stage.

Patiently answering their questions at this stage is a good way of teaching and chipping in great values and educating them. It also help to let them know that it is okay to question existing systems, values and structures and not just follow blindly.
All well and good, it doesn’t make this phase less frustrating. I have still not fully answered why spiders have eight legs and why mummy is daddy’s wife without getting more “WHY’S “.

BV Dante ehn, at times when you post for here, I dey always look you like one bad person but wetin I dey hear and see these days dey make me accept some of the things you post in here

There is a woman here(name withheld). She got married to her husband 5years ago and they had a boy child. She is gave birth to her second child a year and few months ago.
Things has been going on fine and smoothly until recently. From source, the husband was home one day and he decided to rearrange the whole place while the wife was at her shop.
Normally, the husband work na travel things(he is always on the road) but in that faithful day, his movement was delayed due to some issues shaa, so he decided to relax at home for a while in order to take off by 5pm that day.

He was home rearranging everything. He also tried helping the wife to fold some of her clothes in the wardrobe properly but during that process, he stumbled on a document and opened it.
He found a school fee receipt in there bearing his child name but with another surname which is different from the normal receipt been given to him each time he sends his wife money to pay for their child's school fee.(Note: the school receipt he found was a different school but bears the son's name but a different surname). I was told he was confused, instead of trying to cause problem, he spoke with his younger brother and they both made a plan.
They took the boy for a DNA test early this year and found out he wasn't the father and in order to be sure, I was told the test was done at two different places or so. There after, the husband and the younger brother tried their possible best to deceive the wife somehow and got the DNA test done for the second child.

So, the second child belongs to him but the first wasn't.....how come? The man kept quiet and told his younger brother never to open up to their mum until they are through with their secret investigation.

At the long run, the wife recently traveled to her mum's place to pay her a visit. When the husband knew she has gotten there, he called the mother and asked her to put the phone on speaker then kasala burst.
I was told he explained what he saw and sent the copy of the receipt through the wife but she never knew. When the wife was packing her things, the husband helped her out and inserted the copy of the receipt into one of the clothes.

So, he asked her to take out the receipt from the bag she took down there. At the end, she confessed that, the boy belongs to her ex because they had s#x few weeks before her marriage. Not only that, she has also been seeing her ex and the man has also been sending the boys school fees to the mother without the consent of the husband.
The issue became yam pepper scatter scatter. I was told he told the wife not to bother herself coming back home because if she tries it, it might be deadly.

As at the time I'm gathering this information, he has finally let go of his wife. I was told that his inlaws came begging but he refused taking the wife back . I was told he said " Is better to let her go than maltreating her" which I appreciate so much. We only have few men that can do such, the rest go either matchet the wife or strangle her to ☠️.
My question is : what is really happening these days? Is it that, some women have sold their heart to the devil or has just decided to become a sorrow to their generation? Years back, na before we dey complain about man but now, women has taken over the Guiness world records of iranu bayii oooooo.

This paternity scam is too rampant now in Nigeria and with the way things are looking, it started a long time ago..... This DNA thing wey enter Naija so will scatter a lot of homes................Women, you can be anything you wanna be, I dont care but please dont give another mans child to another man!!!

FROM MONDAY IN HOUSE NEWS

I get gist abeg....
I'm really sad about the whole thing because I seriously feel sorry for the girl.
There's this aunty and uncle in my community that are lovers, they started dating since when I was in primary school, like this their ship is over 15yrs+.

They keep breaking up and making up, I had already given up on their ship because the uncle is a player and it's so evident that he might not end up with the aunty not until recently I got to know that their wedding card was out and pre-wedding pictures were everywhere in the internet. I was very happy and excited about the news because everyone in the community has given up on their ship.

So the wedding was to hold last Saturday but something tragic and strange came up, infact the sad news broke on Thursday while the bride and her friends were having bridal shower so I called from home to really get the full gist only for a friend to tell me that the wedding has been cancelled because of Genotype ish.

This is just a cover story thou, this is what they made the whole community to believe. The main gist is that the aunty was tested positive for the last test they went for.

The thing is my Church normally conducts 2 test before joining the couple in church, ranging from genotype, hepatitis, pregnancy and HIV etc..
Before then, as a Lady, you're being asked by the church pastor if you're guilty of any of the above mentioned so that they can quietly handle the situation to avoid any shame and disgrace that would tarnish the image of the church.
Before joining our commission, Aunty was a Muslim, it was due to her love for uncle that made her convert to Christianity. 

Ever since then she has been a very dedicated member so she's very much aware of our church doctrines.
Some think the result was manipulated, while some are saying the uncle might be behind this whole shit just to disappoint her, because how can she be intimate with him all this while and it's only her that is positive+ the test was okay not until few minutes later they called again and said the rest is positive. If she was actually positive I don't think her first result will be reading negative, besides she should have rejected to o marry him because she knows very well that ECWA church will definitely disgrace her ancestors.

The matter long, will continue when I get the main gist sha, right now everyone is just saying what they know ni.

GIST

My day was bad, I cried almost the whole day and until now, I'm finding it difficult to eat cos I can't stomach what I saw.

On Saturday evening I went to carry eggs that I sell, as I was going across the road, I saw this crowd, so I moved closer, only to find out that it was boyfriend and girlfriend fight, the girl said they've been dating for about 8months now and the guy na yahoo boy, he gave the girl some money to start pos business (the guy say na borrow him borrow am ooo), she said for that 8 months that she has done really well for herself, so recently maga no come de pay, the guy now invited her to the hotel where he's lodged, she came, at getting there, the guy begged her to borrow him about 100k but the Babe refused,, saying its season and she can't part with such amount.

The guy got upset and told her to refund him the 500k he gave her to start the business,, she told the guy that anything gotten from friendship dies with the friendship, fight start. So while they were fighting, people came to separate them and that was where the girl said "why will I balance you the money you gave me? Abi you no fuck me? You've been gbenshing me for the past 8 months ", immediately some guys there got really upset and instantly turned against the girl, I have two boys that works at a car wash centre, they were there too, the one we call yellow held the girl and gave the guy room to snatch her bag that has her money and pos machines inside.

They said Emmanuel got really upset and started blaming Yellow that why will you hold the girl, what if she's your sister, the thing generated to a serious fight between the guys, Yellow took bottle, broke it and stabbed Emma with it, thinking it was on his chest, Emma took his bottle, stabbed Yellow in his palm, parted the thumb from the palm and the finger and flesh was dangling, they rushed both to hospital, Emma was accepted but Yellow was rejected, they said the thing cut a vital vein and he may not survive, so their oga chattered a vehicle and took Yellow back to his village (he didn't want him to die in his shop).

I saw Emmanuel this morning and the gory sight of the injury has refused to leave my head and face, they neither covered the injury nor did they sew it, I don't know the kind of hospital he was taken to, the thing de there open waaaa like what I don't know, he shaa said they gave him TT.

Nobody has heard anything about Yellow, why do you want to die ontop another person matter? What if Yellow had succeeded in stabbing Emma's chest? Na so two young boys with good dreams for take kill themselves for nothing??

Anger is useless, very bad and deadly, once you see that an argument is becoming toxic and threatening, please walk away, it's better to be alive and be called a coward... he who fights and runs away, lives to fight another day...

''Amazing morning amazing people of SDK ville  .

 I was chatting with my teacher-friend on WhatsApp yesterday evening, and as usual, she dropped another bomb that broke my fragile heart. It's about one of her students whose mother is indirectly damaging his life. Below is an sms that this boy sent to her on Sunday night which she forwarded to me on WhatsApp while we chatted.

''Ma, my mother is not a good person. She's a prostitute. She brings home men to the house knowing that we live in one room. Most nights I don't sleep because they're doing rubbish. I have told her I want to see my father but she says he's dead. I have asked my other aunties and they said he's alive but they don't know where he is.

My mother said it's the money she gets from men that she uses to feed, cloth and pay my school fees. If you look at these men, they don't look responsible. I hate my mother and very soon, I will run away from her or kill her or any other man that steps here. Different men almost everyday. She can work as a cleaner or set up small business. I just hate her. She will be telling them she loves them. They have s*x with her on the bed and they will be saying nonsense things to each other. Teacher, I am angry. I didn't even sleep because I had to open the door around 1 a.m this morning so that they can have s*x and not disturb me. I entered the house after three and decided to send you sms.''

Let him or her run away and see how cruel life outside can be....The woman say na wetin she do use train you, instead of you to pray to God to intervene , you are spreading it and planning to runor unlife her.....Please let the student run away and without education or her support, lets see if he/her wont end up same way..

Maybe she doesnt even make enough to start a business sef, country hard and even ahewo dey complain.....Teaching is it not if you are schooled to teach and have a certificate?

Shame on that your teacher friend for spreading the sms sent to her in trust..Aadvice her calm that student downa nd not heat up the situation...Tell that the mother selling her body to give him food and education is love and i am sure that she would do otherwise if she had another choice...

Not supporting it but its her body and her choice...Afterall ahewo na day Job.
