  3. This is devastating, especially just around the holiday season. Thank God no one perished.

I figure all these celeb house fires are electrical fires. But that is just a guess, without proper investigation they will never know.

  20. So sad. Our fire alarm went off like two or three times last month. Each time, fire service was here, in less than 5 minutes. Like, before I could wear cloth and run downstairs, they were outside with their blasting vehicles. There was no fire, but they responded. Knocked on doors, checked everything and everywhere. In a country that works.

And tomorrow they'll say there are no jobs. When there is a huge gap in emergency respondence that needs to be filled. Eeyah, sorry, sad and God forbid..until the next victim.. are not enough. We must train people to do these things.

    1. Orezi my heart goes out to you at this difficult time. May God replenish all that you lost. No one deserves to lose the fruits of their honest hardwork.

12:37 well-said. Nigerians will just move on the next tragic event. They are used to suffering in silence while providing themselves the basic amenities the 3 tiers of government should.

Poorly -equipped Fire Service, Fire trucks without water, rutted roads and terrible traffic due to poor road network. This list is endless. 🀦🏾‍♀️

The corrupt political rulers and public servants pretend not to notice until they become victims of their own evil works.
