The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, FCCPC, has warned Nigerians against patronizing fake online stores ahead of the customary seasonal sales, known as ‘Black Friday’.
The Commission said Nigerians should be vigilant and only patronize trusted and credible platforms to satisfy their needs.
I have no business with online vendors. Stopped last year when one ghosted us for about 8 months. I vowed that day I’ll never have anything to do with them anymore.

ReplyDeleteWetin concern with online vendors
ReplyDeleteI have actually bought two beautiful skirts from online store some years back and it's exactly what I ordered for that were delivered on time, payment was made on delivery though. I don't do or believe in black Friday buying.
ReplyDeleteMay people will still be scammed today.
ReplyDeleteMany*
DeleteSome are genuine like.me. My customers are mainly online and I I glad these people trustede without knowing me with their monies and the goods they ordered.
ReplyDeleteIt's been years now and no-one is displeased or dissatisfied.
I really thank God ooo.
I also do alot of online buying and I have been fortunate no to be scammed.. And I pray i am never scammed.
I know of someone that paid for shoes and bag online, she was ghosted after payment.
ReplyDeleteCanill Fashion still has my money till today. They refused to refund me. I ordered clothes online but paid before I realised they didn't have my size. They insisted I collect another but I didn't see what I liked. Refund me naa, they refused. They are so comfortable holding onto someone's some.
ReplyDeleteBuy from established registered businesses with well run websites that have a reputation to protect like Konga, Jumia, Amazon etc instead of some IG page with no feedback or refund system. The few thousand naira you want to save isn't worth the disappointment.
ReplyDeleteNoted.
ReplyDeleteI still shop on Jumia. I analyse the reviews, check seller's rating and also buy most buy products displayed as" Jumia Express". It's been years now and no major complaints.
