A Nigerian joined the team and was asked to introduce herself, hobbies, anything she wanted to share. She said her name, what she wanted to be called... when she said she likes to Netflix and chill, everyone started laughing. I know she didn't understand why people were laughing and she wouldn't have said it in front of executive leadership that were present if she did. Most Nigerians use "Netflix and chill" in a literal sense.

A Major in Nigerian army presented a paper years ago. From his research, over 70% of Nigeria is uninhabited vastlands. With well over 2800 thick forests. Forests that are fertile breeding grounds for fulani activities.
We must remember that all the grazing routes currently in Nigeria now were designated by the British before Independence. The fulani have been using these routes for generations. Routes that pass through these thick forests and vastlands. They know these forests like the back of their palms. They know these forests more than the entirety of Nigeria's security architecture. They will not be dislodged. Our armed forces don't even have the capability to.
So long as this continues, fewer farmers will keep going to farms. That's why Nigeria's rice initiative is failing outside the activities of hoarders ofcourse.

Japa is unsustainable as a solution, the country (like every sector) needs fixing. The amount of cry for help I received this year alone, sad sad stories.
