Wike, who handed over power to his protege and the incumbent, Governor Sim Fubara, spoke to the press on Tuesday, October 31, 2023.
On Monday October 30, 2023, the social media alleged that the crisis ongoing in Rivers has some ethnic colouration as a clash between the Ijaws and the Ikweres after the Rivers State House of Assembly attempted to impeach Governor Sim Fubara between Sunday night and Monday morning.
Wike said
“In politics, there are lot of internal wrangling. But you’re not going to say that because there are lots of internal wrangling, they’re not going to settle among themselves.
“I was the instrument. I had every power then to say where things should go. When things are wrong, you ask questions. It’s a party affair.
“Parties know how they resolve their own mechanism. It’s not an ethnic affair. Our party is looking into it. That’s what I’ll say. Every politician has his own interests,” he

Which party are you talking about? Enjoying the dividend of both parties 🎉, please sir, remain in Abuja. You did more to your predecessor, what were you expecting? SIM, is not giving you the percentage of allocation you want. The earlier you know your might in Rivers is gone, the better.

Then tell me whether he can let SIM Fubara have his way to run the state without control from Wike?
If you are from Rivers state, if Fubara is your kinsman, enter into serious prayer and fasting.
Best comment.
