CHRONICLE OF A MARRIED MAN

When MMM happened to Nigerians, I was not affected, reason? I don't fall easily for awoof. I think before joining any bandwagon!

My co-workers back then tried all they could to convince me to "invest" in it, I refused. I sat down and looked at the scheme, where did the money they used in multiplying people's funds come from? they were not into any known physical business.

When it crashed, many lost their lives, many citizens crashed financially and are still struggling to stand.

Today, there are many other online "investments" out there and Nigerians are still falling victim. Just last month, someone I know lost over 600k to them. Money gathered from co-workers and neighbours, he is locked up in cell for fraud as I type.

Any investment whose real business you cannot point at, don't do it. They come in different forms, shine your eyes.

    1. Lol..

      I didn't, but I lost money.
      How it happened?
There was this girl I really liked, she was going for service, she kept telling me to 'invest', I refused, apparently, her cousin was (I have forgotten what they call those people in the MMM stuff), so that was was pressurising her to bring people, so aunty come was obviously trying to convince all the guys that liked her to 'invest', so she can connect them with her cousin, (taking advantage of our love with bottom power😁).. but I no still free..

So like I said, she was going for service, so she said even if I'm not interested, I should just do it then give her the interest on it to go for camping, and then get take back my funds back, I told her I saw that thing crashing within a month or 2 cos it's almost December and most people doing it are targeting to pull out the cash latest by December, she won come deg carry face like say I be bad person wey no eon help am, so I sent her the money to 'invest', her cousins called me, ask for some information and created the profile, 3 weeks later, it crashed, up till today, aunty didn't seem it fit to apologize to me for making me lose money, she was only complaining on the interest she couldn't get because of the crash..

This was another experience that thought me to be firm in my decision, and not let women put me in trouble, cos your sacrifice ain't worth shii to them, their feelings is all that matters ✌️

  2. Coming to that get rich quick syndrome, some Nigerians don't learn. Tell them from now till tomorrow they will not listen. They intend to cash out fast before it will crash but for where , they will still fall victim. A lot of fake investment company everywhere reaping people off.

  6. People just can't seem to resist the promises of these Ponzi schemes.

Even if MMM makes a comeback tomorrow, there'll be a flood of new participants, especially given the current challenging economy.

Just a few days ago, I came across a post on a social media platform where a girl was encouraging people to invest with her. She was advocating for a daily contribution of 500 naira, promising huge returns in just a few months. It was surprising to see the swarm of people in her comment section, eagerly seeking her account details. Strangers putting their trust in someone they've never met. Instead of opting for more conventional savings methods like using a piggy bank or depositing money into a secure savings account without an ATM.

Many people will always be enticed by the promise of quick gains.

At the end of the day, it's the enduring force of human greed that seems to prevail.

  7. Experience they say is the best teacher. I have got my hands burnt several times on both the ones they call online trading. I was taking the risk in trying to breakthrough financially but now, I have sticked to my monthly salary. No more online or offline investment

  10. My friend did one. We do everything business together or at least discuss. But when she wanted to do this one she did it with another friend and they would mention in passing so it won’t be like they didn’t tell me. It crashed. We didn’t even talk about it. She didn’t lose life changing money so it was okay to lose some to learn something

I didn't fall for MMM but I fell for one they call clarital abi na wetin, can't remember the name, but the money was like 3k that should be 2015 or 2016(I'm not sure).
The latest nowadays is the gaming business, those type sabinus dey advertise, na real scam be that, then another latest scam na online job, they recruit you and tell you it's online job, as you begin to work they pay you o just to bait you, along the line they will now start saying you should invest in the business but na pure scam, I did two online jobs like that, when it got the point they asked me to pay money and I will get back returns I laughed and said see these people , this was not part of our agreement, omo I divert, I stop the work, only for me to check Google and i saw lots of people complaining how these companies has scammed them.
I just laughed and say it can't be me now, how , e no fit happen.

  15. Amazon project is the worst they took my one million promised a lot and under delivered. They even go as far as to tell you to quit your job and join full time. Mean while those at the top get richer while you struggle to even get one signee. There are no rules that protect you from perverts and liars out there.

  17. These ones that are reigning now - they tell you that you get paid each time you buy aietime. An example is TGR (Top up and get reward). How legit is it? I've been looking at it with side eyes. Two of my contacts will not let me hear word because of it. They want me to invest in it. But my experience with MMM is no making me trust the business fully.

    How legit is Omega pro?

  18. Hmmmmm it can never be me again.... I'm more wiser now.
I was deceived to join one like that by a friend years back, I got lucky because the money was just 2k so I didn't panic at all.
When you register, just make sure you visit the app everyday then your money keep growing, the only money you're allowed to withdraw is that of the referral.
Your money will keep growing but no single access of withdrawal is accessible .
There's this one my hubby joined recently with just 20k bro didn't even inform me about it so I kept my cool, it was later he opened up to me and I told him he has been scammed bro, he's like, "it's legit oh, it's not all these Nigerian sites scamming people up and down. So every 8pm they're expected to trade, each trading cost like 1,200, so the money keep adding till he got 70k .
Baba decided to withdrew the small he has gathered na so money no gree comot oh, at first he was like, I should borrow him 20k to register me too, that he will refund the money to me I refused, I said even if the money is coming from him direct I won't join that stupid trade. Some had like a100 and above but can't withdraw . That was how the stupid app crashed oh.
