CHRONICLE OF A MARRIED MAN

Dont say Amen until you finish reading!

A worker took permission last month and travelled to attend his neice's wedding.
He came back and showed me pictures from the ceremony.

On sighting the pictures, I asked him what the groom and bride do for a living because it looked like a carnival. With all his 32 teeth staring at me, he said proudly "the husband na Yahoo boy".

SMH!

When did Yahoo yahoo (internet fraud) become a legitimate job. My people, I was not updated.. I even heard that in Edo state, parents say it with pride, Osahon is now a yahooboy, John na Gboy. Jeez!

You will hear people say to market sellers "You think I'm a Yahoo boy? why are you giving me high price?"

You see girls running after Yahoo boys, saying they are rich and generous. Parents support their children doing it, they support their daughters dating them. The same Yahoo boys that are famous for allegedly using girls for rituals?

Woe onto any body supporting this evil called Yahoo yahoo.

Those of you that think they defraud only foreigners, let me tell you, they defraud fellow struggling Nigerians including old pensioners every day.

An old retiree neigbour fell victim recently. They called the old man and told him they are calling on behalf of the government, that they are sharing the 2billion naira fuel subsidy removal palliative to citizens. Baba submitted his card details to them so they can credit his account, gave them the code sent to his phone and that was it.'

They cleared the savings in his account, he is bedridden as I type. Baba is just one out of many people that fall victim daily. Some do out of greediness but people like that Baba fell victim out of ignorance.

May all the curses placed on Yahoo boys daily manifest on them and their supporters. Amen.

  4. And when they succeed in defrauding innocent people, they rush to buy cars and be living large. Their parents will keep a blind eye to their sources of wealth.

Let me tell you, God hears the cries of these victims. So desist from it for surely KARMA is real.

  5. Have you seen a Yahoo boy prosper? They may have a fleet of cars, houses, and numerous girl friends, but the curse laid on them daily will never make them prosper in life. All the proceeds they got will be blown away like the wind or go down the drain with chronic illnesses and diseases. It is never well with them.

    1. Gosh! We as a people have thrown our values to the gutters. That is why this nation is in such disarray. The Bible says that righteousness exalts a nation. We need to repent individually and collectively as a nation and turn away from our wicked ways. We need God in our hearts. From the least to the greatest, we need to repent and change. I thank God for those standing in the gap for this nation. We need to change.

  13. My wife's staff. All three of them resigned in the space of 2 weeks. I couldn't make sense of it. Much later, I got to know that they've joined yahoo. Ah! One of them even paid for all the rooms in the most expensive hotel in my location just to host a weekend party. They even chattered 4 uber from Abuja and kept them in standby for any girl who was willing to come to the party.

It was earlier this week that EFCC had to arrest some airforce personnel for engaging in yahoo. The thing is very widespread.

I know a lawyer that specializes in bailing yahoo boys. I don't want to reveal some kind of things now but I'll just say even the EFCC hands aren't clean in this matter.

    Yahoo boys disgust me.
