A High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, sitting at Maitama, ordered his release, despite objections from both the Attorney-General of the Federation, AGF, and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
The court, in the ruling delivered by Justice Olukayode Adeniyi, directed that the embattled former CBN governor be released to his lawyers, and ordered him to surrender all his international travelling documents.
The court noted that there must be an end to detention without trial
Good for him
ReplyDeleteIt's this bible he carries like 'Jehova's witness, for me
DeleteThank God for him

ReplyDeletehe looks so slim
I hope he has fully understood the meaning of the proverb, "when they send you on an errand as a slave, you carryout the errand as a freeborn". He overreached himself trying to please Buhari, and treated Nigerians with so much wickedness and lack of empathy.
ReplyDeleteBut today, he alone is suffering the consequences of being a foolish slave
You said it all. I have no mercy for this guy. Many people lost their lives because of his policies. What of the businesses that shut down? What happens to them? He should carry his cross alone
DeleteHe is really suffering alone, look at him looking unhealthy.May God grant us wisdom when at the helms of affairs.
DeleteIn this life just be humble be humble tomorrow is deep
ReplyDeleteWhat's with the big bible he was always carrying
ReplyDeleteLife lessons are continuous, until,we finally wrap off,the earth's surface. ๐๐
ReplyDeleteI'm beginning to feel sorry for him.Such is life...
ReplyDeleteHe will now go and enjoy his loot. May God judge all of you.
ReplyDeleteMscheeeeeew.
ReplyDelete'The court noted that there must be an end to detention without trial'.
I wish this quote will apply to all the less privilege innocent people in detention for many years.
May God's judgement prevail
ReplyDeletethis country is so funny, someone will commit a terrible crime and you see them carrying bible to claim holy. He should suffer a little more so that he can understand what people went through cos of his selfish decisions.
ReplyDeleteIs it the punishment that kept him like this or hunger strike affected him?
ReplyDeleteI wish they will allow him to rot in jail
ReplyDeleteThey should seize his passport and prevent him from traveling out, wicked man carrying bible anyhow,I still have back ache from going to the bank to queue from morning till evening only for them to give you 2k or nothing at all, even after the supreme court ruled that we should continue to spend the old currency this man refused to say anything until buhari now came out and put everything on his head poster you are right,to ba ran omo nise eru anfi tomo je.
ReplyDeleteI heard that the reason why they held him for long was to retrieve dollar/cash from the people he mentioned. That even Bubu's family returns billions o.
ReplyDeleteI said I dey come
They used and dump him. But thank God he's free.
