    1. Her dresses are so stunning. They are my favorites on Pinterest. I wonder why she doesn't post them herself because most of her pictures I've seen there were posted by others.

The photoshop and/or filter and/or facetune is ridiculous!

  3. Why did she wear white abi cream? Is it to look for trouble? These colors are strictly reserved for the bride on her day, so any color or shade that wud drag wt her on that special day is unacceptable.
Tonto u can do better, if another woman comes to ur wedding with a dress, this color, u wud not be happy.

    4. Abeg abeg park well with your judgina mentality.. why on earth will you expect Tonto to under-dress. If you were in her shoes, you would out-dress to reannounce yourself. Why the ex go invite Tonto in the first place?

    5. Anon 21:37, i am not judging, neither am i telling her to under dress, i just made an observation about the color of her dress.
But if u say it’s ok, i sincerely pray that ur boyfriend’s ex wears thesame color of dress wt u on ur wedding day to him, so that she won’t ‘under dress’ like u called it. Abeg shout Amen.
Anon 19:51, u say brides now play wt colors? I am yet to see any bride not wear the traditional white or cream color to her church wedding. Oyinbos, yes, i have seen them wear even black dress but not in naija. May be for another function eg reception, but for the church wedding naaah. Dey dnt play wt any colors

    6. But that you haven't seen in Nigeria doesn't mean it's not happening. In the 90s, my cousin's bride wore pink for her wedding. I have seen Nigerian brides in black, red and total native for the church wedding too. They are not common but exist. I have a wedding in January and all the guests were asked to wear white.

    7. The unwritten rule is not to wear white or a colour close to it. This is especially for fellow women as it is culturally acceptable for men to be in white traditional wear if that's what they are accustomed to wearing. In our own cultural context, women of a certain title eg Erelu, Iya Osun etc are exempt as they are clearly representing their office and not in competition with the bride.

  9. I don’t know if I like or hate the dress. It feels like something 17th century or new dressmakers trying their hand at design. If it was to a white wedding then the colour is inappropriate.

  12. Wh made the law that guests cannot wear white dress to a wedding? I don't see anything wrong in what she's wearing, the bride will always be the bride.

    2. Don’t worry when it is ur wedding, all ur bridesmaids shud wear white inugo?
Nobody said it is a law, but these are unwritten social ethics that have been accepted over time. Atleast to allow the bride enjoy the spotlight cos it is her special day. If u allow ppl to wear the color of the bride, some might over dress and take all the attention to themselves. But if u wear other colors, even if u have a dress more expensive than the bride, so long as it is in another color, u remain what u are, a guest.
BTW who made the ‘law’ that when out on a date, and u r not the one paying, don’t order the most expensive meal on the menu? Why do we still follow it? There! U have ur answer.
