  10. Why do we women make a big deal of our husband carrying or caring for their minor kids as if he is helping us or even doing us a favour? No woman, he is not helping you out, nor doing you a favour. The child is also his, and he should also share in the nurturing. So no need for all this hyping

    2. Every marriage has its dynamics.

Societies have also assigned roles to fathers and mothers in a marriage. Where a father is fulfilling his society's fatherly roles, any of the motherly roles he takes in addition on is commended by an appreciative wife/mother. That's why a man is not called a deadbeat father because he didn't bathe his child. A father is called deadbeat because he didn't provide for the welfare of the child, which may include arranging for childcare (bathing, etc.).

    3. All this one you're talking is from your mouth. She didn't say the man is helping her. If you as a woman give birth, the first time holding your own baby is also special, people take photos of that moment. Not everything is gender war

Fully and intentionally posting as Anon. On your main comment, it would be good if wives and husbands take full 50/50 responsibilities for their families. But how many wives are ready for that in naijaside even if thier husbands are?

Only lazy low value men do 50,50

Many women in Nigeria are the breadwinners , Stella if you do a piece , many people who are BVs grew up with hardworking multitasking mothers. Many men in this generation are failures at providing and protecting (their core functions) due to selfishness and low self respect

Na like minds & those with kurukere waka dey do make ona see us, with suggestive captions , that gives away their intentions.I’ve been following Debola Lagos & wife , right from their proposal night,(world class),wedding, outings, their ttc years, pregnancy , her labor & delivery, up till ds morning, see pampering of wifey & baby. All these without noise . Na ds one be “God when”. If u are a guy, go learn how to do ds relationship thing for that young guy. So intentional & polished.
