  6. The effects of a stroke can last for the rest of someone’s life, it is not something that happens and you get over it easily. The majority of stroke survivors will have some long term issue, most often speech, vision, or mobility. It is devastating.

I sincerely wish him all the best. I hope his colleagues, industry and fans come together to assist him financially l. It is never good to hear of illness leaving someone bankrupt. May God be with us all in these bodies. May we all appreciate and love our bodies no matter our capacity.

    1. It’s not about ‘Nollywood’. A lot of Nigerians (especially men) who see small money without being properly educated and exposed, engage in unhealthy lifestyle choices and they don’t follow up with medical checks and treatments. They only visit the hospitals when things have deteriorated so much.
Poor man no Dey see plenty meat chop, or plenty coke to drink,… so that might be their saving grace from ailments like this.

And tbh, Nigerian hospitals don’t provide updated treatments for cardiovascular diseases. They will just put you on medication ( the medication they prescribe are even old ones cos most Nigerians can’t afford the ones they should be using). In developed countries, this man would have gotten a simple surgery long ago to reduce chances of a stroke.
