  1. Don't Forget What Species You Are!!
    2 Timothy 3:16.

    Excerpts!!

"God's Word has been given to us to lead, guide, instruct and train us in the things of the Kingdom of God. But even more importantly, God gave us His Word to enable us see ourselves the way He sees us. That’s because His Word is a mirror (2 Corinthians 3:18)."

"When you look into the mirror of God, you see the image that God has of you and what He thinks of you. He wants you to have and retain that exact image of yourself, so you can see who you are and act accordingly."

"As you consider attentively and fix your mind on the image of you that you see in God’s Word, you’re transformed into the same image of divine glory, beauty and excellence."

    Confession!!

I'm a new creation, a new species of being that never existed before - dead to the rudiments of the world! I'm constantly transformed into the same image of divine glory, beauty and excellence that I see in the Word. Blessed be God!

Emotional wounds can arise from various sources such as:
    1.) childhood trauma.
    2.) abusive relationships.
3.) loss, or significant life transitions.

    Symptoms of Emotional Wounds:

1.) Emotional Distress: Persistent feelings of sadness, anxiety, anger, or irritability that impact daily functioning and overall well-being.

2.) Low Self-Esteem: Negative self-perception, self-criticism, and feelings of worthlessness or inadequacy.

3.) Trust Issues: Difficulty trusting others, forming or maintaining close relationships, and fear of being hurt or betrayed.

4.) Emotional Reactivity: Heightened sensitivity to triggers, experiencing intense emotional reactions or difficulty regulating emotions.

5.) Avoidance: Avoidance of situations, people, or activities that remind one of the traumatic or distressing experience.

6.) Negative Core Beliefs: Holding negative beliefs about oneself or others, feeling unworthy, unlovable, or deserving of harm.

7.) Self-Destructive Behaviors: Engaging in self-sabotaging behaviors, such as substance abuse, self-harm, or risky behaviors.

8.) Relationship Challenges: Difficulties in forming and maintaining healthy relationships, fear of intimacy, or patterns of codependency.

9.) Flashbacks or Intrusive Thoughts: Repeatedly experiencing distressing memories, images, or thoughts related to the emotional wound.

10.) Physical Symptoms: Physical manifestations of emotional distress, such as sleep disturbances, fatigue, headaches, or gastrointestinal issues.

These wounds can impact a person's overall emotional well-being, influencing their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships with others.

  12. AN AMAZING PROMISE

'I will...show you...things, which you do not know.' Jeremiah 33:3 NKJV

Read this: 'Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know' (Jeremiah 33:3 NKJV). Who said that? The God of the universe! What do you think your chances are of getting through on the phone to a president or prime minister? Zero! Yet regardless of your education, sophistication, ethnic background or financial status, you can talk to God and he will talk back to you. And he doesn't just promise to answer your prayers but to 'show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.'

Sometimes we say, 'It's the not knowing that scares me.' Companies close and workers get laid off. Routine medical check-ups reveal life-threatening challenges. Terrorists threaten our safety and politicians betray our trust. The little boy prayed, 'Lord, bless Mummy, Daddy, baby and me. And, Lord, take care of yourself, because if anything happens to you, we're all sunk!' You say, 'But I'm not sure God has ever spoken to me.' If you're a Christian, he has spoken to you at least once. And if he will speak to you once, he will speak to you twice. But you have to talk to him and let him talk to you through his word and his indwelling Spirit.

Sometimes God waits before he answers you because he is working on both ends of the line. He is working on the thing you prayed about, and he is working to get you ready for it. And sometimes the second thing takes longer than the first. As the old hymn says, 'O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear, All because we do not carry everything to God in prayer!'

  19. Let me rant small.
A friend asked me to help her book flight to Enugu yesterday. They have had a near kidnapping experience so she is afraid to travel by road and this journey is compulsory. The cheapest one way flight is N198:500.00 and others are above 200k. This is less than an hour flight. Not more than 6hours journey by road if the road is good. When she gets to enugu, she will still travel for almost 3 hours journey to her destination. How can you spend almost 500k on transport for one person. How much will you pay for a family of four?😥😥. The roads are not safe. Road Transport is not cheap too. Cheapest mini bus fare is 27k per person. Bad road and you might spend the whole day on the road
Oh Lord look down and show your children mercy. LET THE POOR BREEEET!!!!!

  26. Wake keep ❎
    Wake keeping ❎
    Wake ✅

There are no such words as “wake-keeping” and “wake-keep” in any reputable dictionary.

Wake: an occasion when the family and friends of a dead person meet in order to look at the dead body the night before it is buried, or when they meet after a dead person has been buried to drink and talk about the person's life.

Wake is also known as lyke-wake which refers to the watch or vigil held over the body of a dead person before burial and sometimes accompanied by festivity.

One major point to note is that wake is a gathering or social event that is held BEFORE or AFTER someone's funeral.

    For example 👇
A funeral wake was in progress.

Will you attend the Christian wake tomorrow?

In summary, Wake✅ (in a more general term referring to the night before an occasion).

Funeral Wake✅ (this is specifically used when referring to the night before the funeral service proper.

It is a beautiful Tuesday morning here with dews all over the place.

So there's this couple that moved to our street few months back. The woman is very friendly, greeting and smiling always. I don't know if the hubby sells cars but their compound is filled with assorted cars. They've 3 children and the eldest is about 14yr old. Few days ago I saw the woman with swollen eyes and she was making call hiding in between a fence, the amebo in me wanted to ask her what happened but my liver failed me. This morning, I went outside I saw the couple fighting and their children were looking at them crying. It was early and I was the only one outside. I was confused,I didn't know what to do. The woman tore the horsebands shirt and he wooz her a very dirty slap, I quickly ran and held the woman. Luckily another person came out and separated them. I looked at the children and I became teary. It is well.

Bvs have a beautiful day ahead ❤️
    E go surely be ✌️

  45. Put your kids in a school you can afford, you say no. You want to show off at the expense of these poor kids mental health. Now they need a pass to enter the school and write test but you are still owing more than half of the school fees, no pass for your kids. You now lock them inside since yesterday, one of them came out this morning, you beat him like a criminal. Poor kids!

    1. That is what parents do. They lock them inside the house so that people in the neighborhood will not see them and ask questions, trust kids, they will say "my daddy did not pay our school fees, they did not allow us enter inside the school".
In all these big schools, you use pass to enter the gate after giving grace of some weeks to parents.
