Super Eagles Versus Saudi Arabia Match Ends In 2-2 Draw...

The Super Eagles of Nigeria played out a 2-2 draw with Saudi Arabia in an international friendly on Friday evening, October 13, 2023.


It is the first of two planned games that will be played in preparation for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON)......
Salman Al-Faraj scored the first goal followed by Abdulelah Al-Amri's own goal made possible by Victor Boniface assisted by Moses Simon. Kelechi Iheanacho followed suit as he scored to give Super Eagles the lead but the Saudis netted in an equalizer to dash their hopes of winning.
The Super Eagles will go head to head in a playoff with Mozambique next week for the second friendly match.
