A Disc Jockey, DJ, Ajisegiri Ayobami, has recounted how he met the late singer, Mohbad, lifeless in his house after a nurse administered an injection on him.
He disclosed this while addressing a Lagos Coroner, Magistrate Adedayo Shotobi, on Wednesday October 25, 2023.
He testified that prior to Mohbad’s death, they went for a show at Ikorodu, and on their way back, their Prado SUV was blocked, and he saw Mohbad come down to fight his friend, Primeboy and then he got injured.
He also stated that although the wound was a small cut on his hand but by the time they got home at midnight, the hand was already swollen.
Ayobami said that he and other people in the house tried to call Mohbad’s personal nurse, but she said she was not around, so one of their team members called Spending said he had a nurse, and they called the nurse, who came to administer an injection on him.
According to Ayobami: “The nurse said we should go and get him drugs; while we were at the pharmacy, I called the house to know how he was feeling, and they said I should come back.
“When I got back, they were already outside trying to put him in a neighbour’s car to get him to the hospital, but the way I saw him, he was lifeless, his eyes were closed, and his hands were falling.
“While we were going to the hospital, there was traffic, so I came down from the other vehicle and ran to the hospital; I asked them if they had an ambulance, and they said no. Before I could get back to them, I saw them bringing Mohbad on a bike, and when we got to the hospital he was confirmed dead.”

Where was the wife? The wife has a case to answer. Who injured him?
DeleteDiabolic injury.
He was at a show with about 5 adults in his entourage and she was minding a child just few months old as a housewife so how could she have been there from the island all the way to Ikorodu and environs. FEAR GOD YOU HYPOCRITES WHO DID NOTHING FOR THIS GUY WHILE ALIVE AND ARE NOW LOOKING TO WIPE OUT HIS NUCLEAR FAMILY ESPECIALLY THE WIFE WHO STOOD BY HIM, CARED FOR HIM DESPITE THE PARANOIA OF HIS MENTAL ILLNESS AND MADE PERSONAL SACRIFICES TO SECURE HIS FUTURE.
DeletePoor MOHBAD π’π’π’
ReplyDeleteHe really went through it all, they should never had waited for any nurse not in the country. He was in pain, his thinking would be flawed, you all shouldn't have accepted him saying he doesn't want to go the hospital. Negligence and delay coupled with unprofessional hands.
God

DeleteLmao @ tata nurse… I thought you were calling the nurse a baby nurse. Thanks to lane minder for the correction, I was really struggling to understand
DeleteThank you Lane Minder cos I've never been so confused in my entire life
DeleteThis guys death is just painful. A lot of poeple failed him. Family, friends even his wife. They all waited till he died before they knew they had to rush him to the hospital. The only hope for a good life all of them have. Everyone was depending on him for survival, Papa, Mama, and extended family. They failed him abeg. Nows he's gone, they should all go and hustle and stop dragging property. It's shameful.
ReplyDeleteHow many times have you rushed to hospital for a skin wound? You people are talking as if you’re not in Nigeria! Is it not on this blog that people come to ask for home remedy for all things from rashes to infertility to diabetes to hypertension? Do those BVs not have hospital? Nobody failed anybody, he’s a grown adult that decided to call an auxiliary nurse as Nigerians commonly do but things unfortunately deteriorated too fast
DeleteEven abroad, you won't be taken seriously in ED triage for a flesh wound.
DeleteThe geniuses on this blog don't have the capacity to comprehend that the wound didn't kill him but the allergic reaction he had to the unprescribed medication administered by an unlicensed nurse did.
Just about a year ago, staff paid to look after the toddler of a popular woman left him to drown in the pool and they are still blaming another woman for agreeing to be a stay home mum for at least a year to mind her few months old baby. Very heartless bunch using this tragedy for their entertainment, cheering on the assassination of this mother and child after ignoring the man's cry for help.
It's no wonder most expected Obi or Atiku to be declared president today. As a teacher of mine used to say "nothing in the brain". It's a pity.
It's well

Thanksπππ
Too bad!!
ReplyDeleteTraffic at midnight
ReplyDeleteCareless attitude of not visiting the hospital and self medication caused all this, meaning the people around him no one genuinely loved him.
ReplyDeleteThis story no clear abeg, I saw too many loopholes but I will choose quietness for now... R.I.P Imole
ReplyDeleteMay ur soul continue to rest in peace...
ReplyDeleteToo many stories surrounding his death...dnt even know what to believe again
It's well..
ReplyDeleteOnly God can intervene in the affairs of this nation
No one is talking about the injection they gave him. What was the content? Why couldn't he go to the hospital? Every injection has a name.
ReplyDeleteAlso invite his personal nurse, they need to find out what illness he has treated prior to this, his medical history. Then arrest the new nurse that injected him. Arrest the friend he fought with.
KING XOXO MYSTERY
The nurse and the friend he fought (primeboy)has been in custody since.
DeleteEven the person that suggested that nurse should be arrested.
DeleteNigerians and their ways, rip mohbad, na only God sabinwetin happen
ReplyDeleteThey planned it to killed him is an insider job. All who plan for his dead will not have peace in this life and after.
ReplyDeleteThis is exactly what I believe. All the people close to him planned this thing. They succeeded knowing his parents don't care about him and won't fight for him.
DeleteWhoever called that nurse killed him including the wife.
DeleteAnd yet, zero evidence of the "they" planning anything from our part-time blog crime investigator who burned innocent old women for being witches in a previous life. π€¦πΎ♂️
DeleteThe hospital said he was brought in death and this one is saying the same thing but someone said he snapped with him at the hospital, abi na the death body he snap with? I just pray they unravel the mystery behind this guy's death
ReplyDeleteWey the photo?
DeleteHmmmmm what a sad event, I pray for his soul to find rest.
ReplyDeleteA glorious child, but was highly mismanaged by the father. Who unfortunately attends a spiritual church, because he should know better.
ReplyDeleteMarigold.
Kai this boy suffered before he died.
ReplyDeleteWere was his wife in all this, even his father/mother...no one cares. So sad.
Continue to rest in peace champ.
Chaiii. I think whatever injection the nurse gave him led to dis poor guys death.Took my dad to a chemist after he was stung by bees cos after it happened like 3 hours later he started vomiting and shivering. This happened on a Monday nd dia was no movement(sit at home) I took him to the chemist so they would give him an injection mind you I have checked online nd even called my friend whose a pharmacist as to the injection dey’ll give him. Got dia nd madam nurse said na Tetanus injection I told her Noooo nd even called the name of the injection for her Aunty nurse dey ask me Wetin be datππππ. I just took my dad back home nd gave him paracetamol atleast nd then took him to the hospital the nxt morning. Only God knows what would have happened if she gave him dat injection.
ReplyDeleteAbeg no vex o.. next time take him to a hospital first instead of self medicating. A nurse is a nurse, a pharmacist is just that a pharmacist and a physician is a physician. Let everyone understand this and stay in their lane. Don’t play with fire . A pharmacist has no business prescribing medications.
