I didn't believe Dotun before but I do now, he's been consistent. She has no reason to stop their kids seeing him all her claims are baseless tbh. The guy has even tried keeping it together this long. He might know where they are but if he can't actually see them then that's frustrating. She should have a convo and take it off social media cos this is sooo messy.

DeleteDotun reminds me of my current husband. He would do something like this if given the chance. Zero emotional maturity. I’m not saying Dotun is lying oo but this is just triggering for me reading this. My husband and I had fought some nasty fights as well. Only difference is, it didn’t get to public but every member of my family and his family knew about our numerous fights. Assuming God allows one to remarry, I won’t marry a Nigerian man. The stress that comes with it is too much and not worth it. A lot of these men are badly damaged/raised with serious fragile ego!

DeleteThe Court heard the application for him to see his children and granted it. Is there an appeal against and a court ordered stay of the order? If no, the woman's behaviour is questioning the capacity and judgement of the Judge who she wants to grant her divorce.

She could arrange to do so without ever speaking to or seeing him. She can also return to court to challenge the visitation judgement.
Once your family interferes with their abuse of you, it is suddenly they are trying to control you. Poor Taiwo, she procreated with her enemy.

My own husband told me he won't allow me to ever see my kids if I ever leave him, I told him I don't care, if he ever misbehaves I will leave him amd he can have the kids to himself, they are old enough to know the truth and will look for me when the right time comes. If you show them that you can't leave the marriage because of kids or religious beliefs or financial incapability, they will use you as napkin. This is why women should have something doing. I have a Masters and also learnt a skill..if worse comes to worst , I will dust my certificate and go look for a teaching job or hotel job (those two jobs are readily available) gather little change and buy one or two things, use my skill to make money.
