  4. In all of these, immense suffering has taken over the land and no one cares about that. People are unable to feed, people are losing their businesses. There’s no sector that has not become too expensive but we should applaud the government because of these things that should have been a norm or May end up being audio promises. God help us in that country. Always comfortable with the barest minimum

    4. You just read solutions and impactful efforts being put together when you were nagging and yet, you still have nothing good to say. What an unhelpful way to see life.

In what country has inflation not steadily risen since 2020? Has the USA not been in a technical recession for about 4 quarters? Is it not fact they more than half of the USA population cannot raise 400 USD for an emergency and that most will be unable to retire till their 70s? Is France not raising the retirement age to 72 so their social security system doesn't collapse? Is Canada not losing immigrants because it's impossible for them to own a home and basics so they leave after getting their PR? Where is that Eldorado? How much inflation has Switzerland seen to the point that it has lost so much manufacturing in the last decade and it even taxes those who get social benefits? Please stop lying to the Nigerian poor trying to breathe. Is the current 'rish-session' in the West not going to put downward pressure on full-time skilled jobs numbers? Was there not a mass layoff by the big four and mass sacks across the tech world last year and those jobs have disappeared?

How much were you paying in taxes in Nigeria, where you lived and how much are you paying now? Which came first in your current country of residence: a sufficient and paying tax base or benefits? Or are you not aware that the only money government has, it gets from the people or factors of production under it's care? If the entire annual budget was divided into the number of people in Nigeria, leaving out diaspora Nigerians,, would your annual share be up to 100k? And despite giving nothing for all received, you will still call those who didn't invest state money in family owned businesse at far lower ROIs thieves. What name would you then call yourself?

You people received free or subsidized healthcare, road and rail network, education, fuel and still were not able to amount to much till you absconded with all the input a poor nation invested only to reward it with false propaganda, lies and baseless negativity as your contribution to national development.

Please, those of us who have left Nigeria should be honest about the cost of national development and the process itself. How much do you pay for power monthly and if the cost should be reduced, will there be light? How many of the commenters here come from oil producing communities bearing the brunt for the budget? How much did you and your family ever contribute to the development of Nigeria for the streets to be paved with gold? Better soup, na money kill am o.

When you arrived Europe and saw how the mindset of a people is seen in the way they keep their environment, you should have been filled with prayers for whoever governs Nigeria and the people who they govern. I still remember your comment about untidy surroundings and those giving every excuse for how Nigerians choose to live as if Nigerians are the only poor people all over the world.

Deceiving those left behind with tall tales and false expectations doesn't help anyone.

Have a liking for the truth and say it. The Lagos of 1999 this man met and the one he has planned and directed till now is far better than the performance of your candidate a thousand times which is why you didn't live in Anambra. Development takes time, work and sacrifice especially in the case of an economically uninformed people who have eaten up their seed steadily for the past 50 years: the gas they should have used in firing turbines, they flared. The crude they should have refined and sold, they pilfered and sold raw. The food they should have grown and goods they should have sold, they loaded into containers and imported into their big supermarkets, destroying the manufacturer's and exporters that strengthen and stabilise the currency and economy with the subsided dollars they were getting as elites.

The chickens are coming home to roost and it's best we prepare for many years of slow but steady progress. Production no be for mouth o. Do you part or get out of the way.
