Nigerian Senate Promises To Give New minimum Wage Bill Swift Consideration

Nigerian Senate has promised to give the new National Minimum Wage Bill expeditious consideration whenever it receives it from the Executive Arm of government.


The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Employment, Labour and Productivity, Senator Diket Plang, has assured Nigerians that the Senate remains committed to improving the living conditions of workers as well as tackling the unacceptable level of poverty in the country-

  1. What about those who are not federal/government workers, the small scale business men, artisans, less privilege, people without jobs the list is numerous. How will they cope with the high cost of living
