  1. The Life He's Given Us!!
    John 10:10 AMPC.

    Excerpts!!

"Many don't know why Jesus came. There's a difference between what He came to do for Israel as a nation and what He came to do for the whole world. For the whole world, He came to give life to the full."

"You can only give what you have, and Jesus didn't just have life, He was life personified - the embodiment of life( 1 John 1:2)."

"You're untouchable by death. You've been translated from the realm of death into the realm of life."

    Confession!!

I'm a partaker of the divine nature, filled with the maximum load of God. I walk in divine health, prosperity and victory every day. I am a living testimony of God's grace, goodness and love. I walk in the consciousness of my new life in Christ, knowing that I am more than a conqueror and victorious in every situation. Thank you, Father, for the glorious life you've given me in Christ, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

  3. Some folks who bring hard copy bibles to church, be looking at those who use phones or tabs in church, as sinners! LoL....
For God's sake, the world has evolved. The bible has gone from stones, to scrolls, to hard copies, and now technology has made it easier, to use on the go!
How would you feel, if we were still using scrolls or stones like old times?
Reminds me of those who insist the KJV of the bible, is the 'original' bible, meanwhile KJV was just the language of the British at that point of translation.
The only problem, is when people use their phones for other purposes in church. And that one, na God go judge them. But, no one should be made to feel bad because they have, and use the bibles in their phones. Besides, a phone Bible gives you the luxury of comparing many translations and highlighting references.
The one wey God send us to do (go into the world and win souls, we nor do. Na the one wey dem nor send us, na'im we dey like do. Na wa!).
    Una Gud Morning....#ALiSpeaks

    KNOW YOURSELF PART THIRTEEN

Negging is a manipulative tactic often used in dating or social interactions where a person gives backhanded compliments or subtle insults to undermine someone's self-esteem or confidence, while appearing to be a form of flattery, with the intention of gaining attention, affection, or control over the targeted individual. It's generally considered unhealthy, toxic and unethical behavior.
Here are a few examples of what negging sounds like:

1.) "You're pretty for someone who doesn't usually wear makeup." - It implies that the person is only attractive because they deviate from their usual appearance (not wearing makeup), which can be hurtful and offensive. It suggests that their natural appearance isn't attractive and that makeup is necessary to achieve beauty.

2.) "You're quite intelligent for someone from your background." - It implies that their intelligence is unexpected or exceptional given their perceived background, suggesting a surprise or low expectation based on stereotypes or assumptions about that background. It is offensive and disrespectful.

3.) "You have a unique sense of style, it's... interesting." - It implies that the style is unconventional or unusual, possibly to make them feel uncertain about their choices. It's a form of psychological manipulation and can be harmful to the recipient's self-esteem.

4.) "You're so much fun to be around, not like most other girls." - It implies that the recipient is enjoyable to be around but subtly criticizing "most other girls" to create a sense of superiority or specialness. It's meant to manipulate and gain control in a conversation or relationship.

5.) "Your taste in music is interesting, not what I'd usually listen to, though." - It implies that they don't share the same musical preferences, suggesting a lack of alignment or normality in the other person's taste while still using the term "interesting" to avoid being outright derogatory.

6.) "Your job is impressive, especially for someone with your qualifications." - It implies that the person's qualifications are not up to par with their current job, even though it may seem like a compliment on the surface. It's meant to create doubt or insecurity in the recipient.

7.) "You're really ambitious, even with your experience level." - The person is attempting to downplay your achievements or goals by suggesting that your ambition is excessive considering your current level of experience. It's intended to make you doubt your capabilities or accomplishments.

8.) "It's cute how confident you are, even without much reason to be." - The speaker is trying to appear subtle in their insult by suggesting that the person is confident without valid reasons, implying they lack substance or merit for their confidence. It's a harmful and disrespectful approach to interpersonal communication.

9.) "You're so articulate for someone of your education level." - It's insinuating surprise at the individual's perceived high level of articulation despite their assumed lower education level. It's a demeaning comment disguised as a compliment, intending to make the recipient doubt their abilities or accomplishments.

10.) "You're really good at [hobby], almost like a professional... almost." - It implies that you're skilled in your hobby but then immediately downplays it by suggesting you're not quite at a professional level, which can be intended to make you feel inadequate or strive for validation. It's a harmful and toxic behavior aimed at controlling or manipulating the person being negged.

People who engage in negging comments are often referred to as manipulative, rude, or emotionally abusive. The term "negging" itself stems from the tactic of giving negative or backhanded compliments to manipulate someone's emotions or self-esteem. It's essential to discourage and avoid interactions with individuals who engage in such behaviors and prioritize healthy and respectful relationships instead.

  7. People of SDK ville, I greet you all this Monday morning. Lemme gist you guys about what happened in my compound over the weekend. On Saturday night, at about few minutes to 1 a.m, we heard an unusual shout from one of our neighbours. I immediately told hubby to turn off the television because we were watching a film then. Just as he was about to turn it off, we heard a knock on our door, it was my neighbour calling hubby to come out, that he just caught a thief. Na so my hubby take open door waka, me sef lock the kids inside follow am. People of God, as we went outside, we saw this tall, handsome dude completely n*ked. He was held by my neighbour's friend who came to pass the night in his house. At this time, most of our neighbours were already out. Na so everybody begin ask this guy wetin carry am come our house at that hour of the night, he no gree talk.

Meanwhile, my neighbour said he caught him peeping through his sitting room window, so he quickly came out with his friend. The guy tried to run, but was caught by the two young men (my neighbour & his friend). Since the guy couldn't explain his mission, his two hands and legs were tied so he wouldn't be able to escape. The plan was to hand him over to the police in the morning. Someone however suggested that he be handed over to the OPC. When the OPC guy arrived & questioned him, he concluded that the guy is not a thief. He told the guy to take him & other interested neighbours to his house.

According to my hubby who followed them, this guy is from a rich home. Hubby said the father immediately started shedding tears on sighting his son in that shameful state. The man told them that the guy's mother resides in Germany, and that the guy has been deported from Germany thrice as a result of drugs. According to what the man told them, the guy is not his biological son. He adopted him as a son when he married his mother who happens to be his third wife after she separated from her first husband. He said he has done everything possible to stop the guy from taking drugs, all to no avail. He was full of thanks to hubby and others for not handing him over to the police who may have complicated the matter.

  8. The list of the most prayerful countries in the world could also be the list of the poorest and least peaceful countries. Take a look below:

    1. Afghanistan: 96%

    2. Nigeria: 95%

    3. Algeria: 88%

    4. Senegal: 88%

    5. Djibouti: 87%

    6. Iran: 87%

    7. Iraq: 87%

    8. Niger: 87%

    9. Indonesia: 84%

What do we learn from this? Prayer is only able to power and prosper you if it is combined with work. But by itself alone, it will make you like these countries above.

  18. ‘WE KNOW’

'We know that all things work together for good to those who love God.' Romans 8:28 NKJV

This is one of the most often quoted and comforting Scriptures in the Bible: 'We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to his purpose' (Romans 8:28 NKJV). This verse is to believers; to redeemed children of God who love the Lord and walk according to his purposes and operate according to scriptural principles.

Interestingly, the Bible translates our English word 'know' from a Greek word meaning we know 'intuitively'. Something within us says, 'I don't understand it and can't explain it, but I know that God is at work and something good will come out of it.' Note the words 'things work together'. Would you enjoy eating baking soda? Or flour? No. But when you put them together, add a few other ingredients, mix them up and place them in the oven, they come out as something 'good'. When this verse says, 'All things', it includes things that are painful, unfair and difficult. The path to the throne of Egypt led Joseph through betrayal, slander, false imprisonment and disappointment. But looking back, he could say, 'But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day' (Genesis 50:20 NKJV). In ways you cannot see or understand right now, what you are going through is working for your good.

Do you love God? Do you believe that he has a plan and purpose for your life? Are you endeavouring to please him? Then you 'know' and can trust him to work 'all things' out for your good.

  32. Reno Omokri on the japa syndrome by Nigerians

One of the worst things you can do is allow your friends who japa'ed to entice you to also japa because of the rosy picture they paint. One of the first things that will happen is that their attitude will change if you actually make it to the country they are in.

First of all, they stop taking your call once they know you have landed. They never really expected you to get that visa. Why? They are afraid you will come and stay with them. Secondly, they will avoid you because the picture they painted was a bit exaggerated, and the truth will embarrass them.

Immigrants who enjoy Europe and America are those who are independently wealthy. Those who make money from a business that does not require their physical presence 9-5. Or those with intellectual property, e-commerce, or monetised social media that brings money. Or old money from Nigeria.

The rest are running the rat race. Working two jobs. 9-5, five days a week on one job, evenings or the weekends on the other job. Without those jobs, all they flaunt, including house, car, and even phones, will be repossessed by banks if they miss three consecutive payments. No sorry. No, please. No, I beg! You don't don't pay, you don't stay. Period!

If you own a bungalow in Lugbe in the FCT, or a flat at Oworonshoki, Lagos, you are better than many of the japa people you see on social media, whose lives are mortgaged to the hilt. Not everything that glitters abroad is gold.

This is not to say don't japa. Do relocate. But don't relocate hoping to replicate a life that is a facade.
