  1. Compassion Is A Force!!
    Mark 1:41.

    Excerpts!!

"When you study Jesus and the way He ministered, you’d observe that He was often moved by compassion. Every time He had compassion on, or was moved with compassion for someone, He did something to change the situation."

"So, like the Master, we’re to be full of compassion. Change comes when we’re moved with compassion. We’re His express image today. He’s counting on you to be moved with compassion and do something for those in need; change the lives and circumstances of those in your world."

"You’ve been empowered by the Spirit to take action, offer comfort and be a vessel of God’s love and kindness to a hurting world."

    Prayer!!

Dear Father, I'm stirred by the examples of Jesus who being moved with compassion brought healing, strength, comfort and hope to those in need. I'm empowered by your Spirit to take action, to offer comfort, and to be a vessel of your love and kindness to a hurting world, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

  2. GOD: YOUR CONFIDENCE

'Those who trust in the Lord...cannot be shaken.' Psalm 125:1 NIV

People are naturally attracted to leaders who convey poise and self-assurance; they won't follow one who lacks self-confidence. An excellent illustration of this is an incident that took place in Russia during an attempted coup. Army tanks encircled the government building that held President Boris Yeltsin and his prodemocracy supporters. As the army moved into position, Yeltsin strode from the building, climbed up on a tank, stared the commander in the eye, and thanked him for turning to the side of democracy. Later the commander admitted that although he hadn't intended to go over to Yeltsin's side, the Russian leader appeared so confident that the soldiers decided to join him. Great achievers exhibit confidence regardless of circumstances.

But true confidence doesn't come from human approval. The Bible says, 'The Lord will be your confidence' (Proverbs 3:26 NKJV); it's about knowing he's called and equipped you to do the job. Paul wrote, 'We feel certain before God...[he] makes us able to do all that we do' (2 Corinthians 3:4-5 NCV). Even though others may not believe in you, knowing God believes in you enables you to believe in yourself. David wrote, 'Many are saying of me, "God will not deliver him." But you, Lord, are a shield around me...the one who lifts my head high' (Psalm 3:2-3 NIV).

A confident leader can say to those who follow him or her, 'I have confidence in the God who called me. I have confidence in you. I believe that together we can accomplish what God wants done.'

  5. U CANNOT SERVE TWO MASTERS

Beloved, it is not possible to serve two masters, you can only serve one, and forsake the other. Luke 16:13

This life was created under two ways, right or wrong, left or right, front or back, good or evil, heaven or hell, holiness or sin etc.

You can only serve master Jesus christ or the devil, you cannot serve the both, an attempt to do such is delusion, self deception mockery unto yourself.

Every child of God mixing the love of God with another thing is taking a risk, do you love money so much that you cannot close your business for a day or even few hours to be in the presence of God, are you one of those that still performs some small small rituals with the disguise of honouring ancestors, you pour drinks on the floor for them, you call upon mother earth to watch over you, you join in cultural celebration like masquerade, festivals of so so and so God's etc after all these you still believe you are serving God, kindly remain one place and stop decieving yourself, YOU CANNOT SERVE GOD AND SATAN.

U might have encountered a sickness, problem etc, some people will tell you, go and settle your ancestors, go and settle water spirts etc, they will mask and coat it with give to ceasar what belongs to ceasar, child of God hear this, the earth is the Lord's and all it's fullness, the world and those who dwell therein. Psalm 24:1. Do not be deceived by anyone.

You owe no ceasar, marine spirits, ancestors anything.
Your full service belongs to God. Stop decieving and compromising yourself. You know the truth, but impatience to wait on the lord, and laziness to battle in prayer is the culprit. Atimes fear has eaten deep into the fabrics of your soul.
You are a child of God, he has not given us the spirit if fear, but of power, love and soundmind.

Why are you running helter-skelter, stop mixing service, for there is only one God by which we might be saved, and his name is Jesus Christ.

Worship no other God exo 34:14, Deu 6:14 stop contradicting yourself.

Perharps you have already done it, you have realised your mistake, it is not yet late, come out today and accept Jesus, remain with him and grow in him, draw near to God james 4:8.

Resist the devil's fallacy and meet with Jesus today, Repent of your sin or you will go to hell. Whoever is telling you to settle with your ancestors, water spirts after the nonsense ritual you can still go back and continue serving God is just decieving you. Child of God, do not be deceived, you will go straight to hell when you compromise your faith and allegiance to christ Jesus, remember when you confessed salvation, you told God to come into your life and be your personal lord and saviour, why then are you also giving the devil chance to come into the same place you gave God, if you are God, won't you get angry, most of us cannot stand it when our husband's gets a sidechick talk more of wifing her, Viceversa.
But we do all these to God, how do you think he will share your love, worship, service with satan, reflect on this, think twice, make the right choice. and God will see you through.

    JESUS LOVES YOU
    COME TO JESUS TODAY

    ROM 10:10
    Say this prayer of salvation

Dear lord jesus, I'm sorry for all my sins, please come into my life, i believe you died on the cross of calvary for me, and on the 3rd day you rose again, please come and be my lord and personal saviour. Please Wash away my sins and bring me into your loving light. Amen

    ✓KNOW YOURSELF PART SIX

6 Things You Must Not Tell People.
1.) The negatives about your ex-partner or the people who genuinely took care of you.
2.) If they are lean, fat, or have a lacking ability, don't throw that in their face. They are already aware of it, and telling them only leads them to doubt their progress.
3.) Belittling people's dreams with your words is something to avoid. People who chase dreams only want encouragement, not a feeling of dejection and inferiority. Note that adding criticism is different compared to belittling their dreams.
4.) Do not downplay their struggles or the pain they've undergone.
5.) Using someone's vulnerability against them.
6.) Avoid making unsolicited comments about someone's personal life or their relationship status.

  25. White Hair or Grey Hair?
    Grey or Gray? Part 1

Once upon a time, I journeyed to Lagos for a public speaking engagement.

As soon as the plane touched down, I ran into Ogonna Racheal, a former student of mine in UniPort.

    NB: Touched down means landed.

"Look at Vickie!" Ogonna said and ran towards me, arms wide open for a bearhug. "You're as young as ever. You're ageless, Vickie!"

"Can't you see the scattered greys in my hair?" I replied as I flashed her a wide toothy smile. 😁😀

"I can't see any o!" She said, grinning from ear to ear.

"By the way, is it grey hair or white hair?"

    I answered:
Grey hair is correct. White hair is also correct.

Prof. Wole Soyinka is white-haired. In his early 40s, he wrote a poem entitled: To My First White Hairs.

Santa Claus has white hair and beard.

    Dr TeeJay has grey hair.

Grey is the shade of colour between black and white.

Grey is British spelling while gray is American.

When I told Ogonna I was in Lagos to speak at an event on HOW TO OVERCOME NERVOUSNESS AND SPEAK LIKE A PRO!

    She asked:

"Do you EVER have stage fright, Vickie?"

    I responded:👇

To be honest, I sometimes do.

The thing is that I don't let FEAR stop ME.

Whenever I stand nervously before any crowd, I STILL SPEAK. AFRAID!

I speak with butterflies in my stomach; I speak with courage in my heart!

NB: Butterflies in your stomach (or Butterflies) is an informal idiomatic expression that means to feel very nervous, usually about something you are going to do.
    -Cambridge dictionary

I speak with butterflies in my stomach; I speak with courage in my heart since I came prepared.

Courage is, indeed, not the absence of fear.

    Read that👆 again!

  31. Reno Omokri makes a case for Nigeria in the Israeli and Palestinian brouhaha

When you see what is happening in Israel, you begin to realise that Nigeria has not done such a bad job in managing her diversity. There are no parts of Nigeria that are off limits for Christians or Muslims. Ethnicity does not determine residency. Yes, we have our own homegrown extremists, including Boko Haram and separatists. But those are very fringe groups. We may not be where we ought to be, but we thank God there is no war in Nigeria. No rockets flying over and into our cities. No armoured cars on our streets. No RPGs punching holes in people's houses. Nigeria happened to us, and we are not in a state of war. So I ask you, how bad is Nigeria relative to other places, like Israel, Sudan, Yemen, Libya and other places? We pray for peace in Israel. But we also thank God for His Providence over Nigeria. May Hd open our eyes to see how blessed we are. In Yeshua's Name.

When a pregnant Harira Jubril was killed last year on the streets of Anambra by unknown gunmen, with her four underaged daughters, with her four underage daughters, Fatima 9 years, Khadija 7 years, Hadiza, 5 years, and Zaituna, 2 years, how many of you condemned the barbaric act? How many of you demanded justice? Have her killers been caught? You guys moved on as if it was a mosquito that was killed.

Yet, you want to dance naked in the streets over the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Justice for Israel, Free Israel. Which justice did you give Harira and her children? Watch the video of her husband crying like a baby. Because he is not Israeli, you don't care. He is just a Malam. Your sympathy and empathy are reserved for better people, not ordinary Aboki.

Look, injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. You cannot want justice for Israel and support injustice in Nigeria!

    #TableShaker

    ReplyDelete
  32. More below..

Unknown gunmen have barbarically beheaded many innocent Nigerians. How many have you cried for justice for, like you are crying for justice for Israel? I want justice for Israel, too. But I will not be blind to the injustices in Nigeria. Did you cry out for justice when unknown gunmen killed US embassy staff in Anambra on May 16, 2023? You only want selective justice. When people you support kill people, you are quiet. When people you don't support do it, you are disquiet. I went to 48 countries seeking justice for Leah Sharibu. I spent money seeking justice for Harira Jubril. Next was raising money for Onitsha Market Fire victims. I don't see Christians or Muslims. I see human beings. And as long as you don't do justice locally, you lack the moral authority to request it globally. If you believe what you are saying, then fish out the killers of Harira Jubril and four underaged daughters, Fatima, 9 years old, Khadija, 7 years old, Hadiza 5 years old, and Zaituna 2 years old. Until then, you are just making noise, not news!

Reno Omokri on the destruction of mosques not being the best strategy and more

It is perhaps not the best strategy to destroy mosques. There are better ways to deal with the suspected use of a mosque for non-religious and charitable purposes. Surround it and siege it until those alleged to be misusing it surrender. Target any belligerent going in or out. But to target a mosque as part of collateral damage will outrage the Muslim Ummah and non-Muslim lovers of peaceful religious coexistence and create the atmosphere for recruiting people ready to continue the struggle.

During the first Gulf War, the United States used smart bombs to damage military assets and leave mosques right next to them undamaged. If that could be done thirty-two years ago, surely it can be done today. My response would be the same if it were a synagogue or a church. I am in support of humanity, not any religion. God loves humanity, not religion.
