Happie Boys Reportedly Deported To Nigeria

The Happie Boys, who are known for their viral dance videos, have been reportedly deported to Nigeria from Cyprus. They were initially sent to Cyprus on a scholarship by Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere in 2022 after they lost their jobs due to their dancing. However, they reportedly had a falling out with Apostle Chinyere and ended up being imprisoned in Cyprus before their deportation.
They are reortedly currently holed up in a hotel in Abuja.

Some of you and the way you reason sha.

So when God wants to Bless you, He'll wear a shirt that has God written on it so you'd know it's God blessing you ba?

That's how you'd go and mess up opportunity given to you and then console yourself with the nonsense talk that it's not God's blessings.

God uses Men to Bless other men! Appreciate and respect your helpers.

  11. I know they will be deported when I read of their arrest. They are so empty and entitled. Wasted the opportunity other people are looking for with touch light on a broad day light.

  16. Pride comes before the big fall. Never bite the finger that fed you.
    Humility is a great virtue.

They should learn from their mistakes and live humbly now. God has opportunities for thier upliftment.

  22. That place has nothing to offer them without continuing sponsorship. When the sponsorship allegedly stopped, their return is inevitable.

Their mistake was that they dramatised the stoppage of the sponsorship. In that circumstance, alternative help was very unlikely.

    1. True, they should not have made a negative drama out of the stoppage of the sponsorship. If they had been calm about it, another person may have taken over from the apostle or they should have moved to Cotonou like he suggested, after all, it is free. Their stinking entitlement and stupidity did them in.

    2. I don’t believe they were arrested for having no sponsorship. They never talk wetin dem do

Some enemies of Apostle are already promising them a good life, let's see how far they will go with their promises.

  36. Sometimes it’s better to just school locally. If they had opted for an African school they would likely have completed their studies. Just use the experience as life learning and focus.

  37. So sad, in this harsh reality?

  38. The pastor get many k-leg, no cap. The boys no try for themselves.

There are many parents who have had to tell their children to return from foreign countries to continue their education in Africa due to financial hardship eg in the last few governments where there was a sharp dip of the Naira against foreign currencies. This did not lead the children or wards to disown their source.

Parents move children from one school to the other based on affordability all the time. Some children started the academic year in a private school and are to resume public school by next term. They have not because of that listed as motherless.

There are employers who have had to make painful decisions about payroll and even slash pay to retain staff. This has not led the staff to quit and say all sorts about the employer who is doing his or her best regarding the circumstances. Even those leaving are not slamming the door shut because they have no crystal ball to see if the same challenge doesn't confront them in their new station.

In everything, use wisdom. A person using other people's money to do what your parents failed to do is not your enemy. The people hailing you from the gulags you left behind don't know the impossible nature of the land you were asked to return from. The relatives whose cut from your security salary was increased from N2,000 to maybe 20 euros a month from your stipend don't know that people living in such a place pay at least 700k a month for a little modest place and that the cars you pose beside are not yours. Even renewing your papers cost good money and you need your fees for that.

You did not win a scholarship but were just lucky to meet a morally wanting man with a high taste for attention. There was no binding contract beholding him to be responsible for adult males in a hostile country.

Shut doors the right way. No smart person looking to cover your shame will see how you treated that pastorpreneur and take the risk. It was the same thing you did to your employers at the food business where you previously worked.

If a person in whose account you haven't kept money tells you he can no longer afford a Ferrari and instead will buy you 2010 corolla, thank him and be truly grateful you got something reliable for free. People are being recruited from the backend universities in Nigeria for tech and admin jobs abroad if they stand well well. Your colleagues have gone to Cotonou and are heading back with their degrees. If they ask the guy for 700 dollars for an online cours, a laptop or to process some documents to be japa-ready, he will readily oblige knowing they will soon be off his neck and ready for social media show off of him as their personal lord and saviour.

Even if you find a person willing to do the most tomorrow, a negative review from someone who promoted you from unemployed as a result of disobedience to foreign student will not sit well with anyone you meet going forward.

    Say no to entitlement.

  39. I passed by chicken republic this morning, and saw a security man, passing by with this their uniform.

Then I remembered Happie boys and just shook my head. Entitlement is one of the greatest destiny killers.
