  3. I agree with her, he should be charged to court if there's evidence against him, else they should release him, it's his right.

  4. Make your brother stay there for a while first

  5. Didn't he bully him?
    Threatened him?
    Abused him?
Even if he's not a muderer, he should pay for what he did to him.

    1. Mrs Sharon,

Then they should charge him for that if this exists in our legal system.

It's ok for us to throw words at influential people when they use their network to "bully" others but aren't we doing the same thing?

  6. She is right Naira didn't kill Mohbad, he's innocent they just want to appease the masses.

  9. There's enough evidence of him and his guys Bullying and assaulting Mohbad, let him remain there until investigation is over.

    1. I didn't see him bullying him, I only watch the video of Sam Larry bullying Mohbad. I'm not saying he's not guilty, but they should follow due process. Let them cease his international passport while they continue with their investigations. If the evidence they have is enough to accuse him of killing Mohbad, he should be charged to court. I think that should be the right thing to do.

    2. Accessory to bullying and intimidation makes him guilty. If you are in a group where they are planing to commit, even if you didn’t participate in the act, you are an accessory because you didn’t walk away.

    3. Come on Shyla,

Remanded in custody for bullying isn't legal. Especially if he hasn't been charged for it.

Tomorrow, when a celebrity or politician uses their might to get something done, let's remember we aren't so different afterall.

  10. The way you are feeling, is same way Mohbad's loved ones felt, when your brother was harassing, assaulting and bullying him.

    1. Are you sure he truly had someone that genuinely loved him?

    2. Anon 12:20, even if he had no one that genuinely loved him, he was human just like you and didn't deserve to be treated like he was. You think Mohbad was happy being hounded up and down?

    3. Anon 12.20, whether he has someone who truly and genuinely loves him is not the issue here. Was he not bullied, victimised?

This is how you people turn valid points to trash just to sounds different....

    2. Which crime precisely?

The same one that a lot of us are guilty of?
What type of a boss are you?
What type of an employer are you?
On SM, are you a troll or a fan?
How do you treat your domestic staff, driver etc?

If there is a case against him, they should charge him. Otherwise, let him go.

  15. Next time he should learn how not to bully people,if he had not bully and threatened him he won't be there in the first place but all the same Nigeria police should do the right thing by charging him to court

  16. In as much as we saw a lot of video evidence pointing dirty fingers at Naira, we can't rule out the fact that the justice system needs to do what's right.

If he's guilty, table his offenses and charge him to court, and if there is not enough evidence to nail him yet, let him go and keep investigating. He has his rights too, guilty or not.

  17. He will be set free and everything will go back to normal. People are moving on already.

  18. I am totally with her on this. You don't arbitrary detain someone indefinitely just to seem like you are working. After all the law says you can't detain someone beyond 48 hours. He may have had altercations with Mohbad in the past, which doesn't attract an indefinite detention, but that doesn't prove he is the murderer. Besides why is it taking so long for the autopsy result to come out?

  19. He should cool off in Police cell.

He bullied Mohbad with his Gang

  21. Nigerians keep doing this foolishness
You’re safely in a foreign country you now travel down to Nigeria when they are on your case
    Do you just like jail
Stay where you are and answer their questions on phone

    1. No. He did the right thing, but a shitty justice system is what is at play. Ppl need to fight for reform. Nigeria’s problem is that it claims to be a democracy but the way its institutions operates when dealing with the average citizen is anything but democratic. The ppl need to demand fair treatment and justice. And the country needs to operate fairly and justly.

  23. Keeping him there like that is bad. This can happen to anyone of us. It is very bad

  24. Does he not have a good lawyer on his side? If he has been in detention for a month then his lawyer sucks, plain and simple. Get a new lawyer!

He should not have attended any questioning without the presence of his lawyer and he should have met with his lawyer before he went to the authorities since he has an alibi, being out of the country. He is not a hard suspect, and even if he is a suspect without evidence he should be free. It’s a shitty justice system why something like that can happen.
