The Lagos police had requested that they be kept in custody for 30 days, but the Chief Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun ordered that the accused be remanded for only 21 days . The reason for their detention is not clear but both of them are persons of interest in the ongoing investigation into who killed coroner Mohbad.
Two additional unnamed persons were also arrested.

ReplyDeleteBut except there's ample evidence showing they were instructed by NM, there's nothing here except harassment, bullying which I'm not certain carries a jail term.
And even at that, we need witnesses to attest that they were instructed to do cuz by NM.
I wish we can all stop being sentimental so that we do not hang the wrong person/s. I hope we don't "bully" the police into giving in to what some people want.
According to the video of his friend, the young man was allegedly high. Anything could have happened. Alcohol and drugs go wrong ALL the time.

I agree with you. Nigerians are too driven by sentiments. What they are hoping happens to naira marley is the same thing that happens when police randomly pick boys/men from streets and frame them for murder.
DeleteNo cause of death has been established, but they are arresting people for a death that we don't even know if it was murder? They arrest Naira, sam Larry, auxiliary nurse,.. Fingers point at mohbad father, or his wife... The public is just accusing everyone and police is complying and it makes no sense. I pity the aux nurse who may have no money for good lawyer.
