STAND ALONE NARRATIVE

A STORY THAT WILL LEAVE YOU IN A COLD SWEAT

I had a similar experience like that of Saturday chronicle poster. 

This man is Top politician in my state. Not told old, early 50s. Former SA to Goodluck. Wines and dined with who is who.I met him in an office,

 I didn’t know who he was, I was a Corper at the time. We were all waiting for someone in an office so i was gisting with my friend, I mentioned I was just posted to a ministry in the state for my PPA, he mentioned he used to work there, so he collected my number and I later found out he was a commissioner in that ministry over 15yrs ago before going to serve on national level.

He started pushing gradually. Initially he Said he wanted us to be just friends as his family Stays in Abuja while he spends more time in the state we were in since I was new in the town and didn’t really know anyone asides a few work buddies n fellow corpers so at first I was a bit calm and just talked to him on the phone mostly.

He invited me over several times but I turned him down each time. As I told him I didn’t want any one pouring acid on my fine face. He started visiting. Though I never let him into my apartment as I told him I didn’t have space for his entourage (he moves with security) in my small abode. We would sit in the car and talk.
He pressed and pressed. Made promises. Advised me to start a business as unemployment was high and he was ready to fund it 100%.

What really saved me was that I come from a very spiritual home, in my family we usually get spiritual premonitions before any bad event happens, most times we would fast and pray and it would be averted.

On this particular visit, while in his car, he started again telling me he had a luxury apartment he just got for me to move into , fully furnished n all so I would be more comfortable and he won’t have to always meet me in his car as he didn’t want to meet with me in public because of his popularity. Of course I turned down the offer. Told him I never complained of any discomfort about where I was staying at the time. I was living in a 2bedroom apartment all by myself so I wasn’t not necessarily broke or hungry. I had a small business I was already running not doing badly though I wished to scale it up and establish in this town as the few months I had stayed there I was already doing well nevertheless I had never shared that with him as I knew he would definitely want to bait me with it.

Back to the car talk , He started talking about how he had never being this helplessly in love like this before and I was punishing him for it. He started trying to be touchy, I got mad n Told him I had to go immediately. He started apologizing saying he’s in love he can’t control his feelings radarada Then he pulled out the cash (counted it later—>$10k) and gave to me to show how sorry he was . I took them and left. Big mistake.

That very night I had a dream where a very ugly mean looking monster with big fangs chased me for a long time after I became weak from running he caught up with me and dug his teeth deep into my back I screamed and writhed in pain and woke up.

Checked my phone to know the time only for me to see a message from my mom telling me she just had a very terrible dream about me. I told her about mine too. We fixed family prayer. 3 days dry fast.
She stood in the gap with me. We prayed and prayed. At the end of the fast I had a dream that someone held me hostage in my house and was about killing me, my mom shows up, slaps him several times and works him out of the house, he was even trying to wear his slippers she pushed him out without the slippers and he fell she locked the doors and warned him never to return.

I opened up to my mom about this man. She told me he’s most likely an occultist and may be seeking for more than he was asking. She asked me to call him and ask him to come n when he does I should return the money as he gave to me and the cut all ties with him she said she would send her cousin living in my base to be around when he comes.

I tried to call him and strangely realized he had blocked me on all platforms. Both WhatsApp and Facebook. Hmmm, this world is really spiritual. We had no fight or misunderstanding last contact with him he was pleading and even giving me money. And all of a sudden after the prayer n fasting he blocked me.

My mom advised me to use part of the money shop for kids clothes, diapers and foodstuffs, put the remaining in envelope and give everything to an orphanage in my base. I did exactly that. Even added extra from my pocket as thanks giving to God.

Last I heard of him online on one of the popular news outlets he was sick and receiving treatment abroad though the news of his sickness is more recent like 18months after the incident.
I’m really grateful to God for having such a prayerful mother.
