Atiku obtained victory at the court in his fierce legal battle to probe into the academic qualification of Tinubu in the February 25 presidential poll.
Tinubu had supplied certificates from the Chicago State University, CSU, to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to secure eligibility to participate in the election.
A United States of America court on Saturday ordered CSU to release Tinubu’s academic records for verification and in support of Atiku’s petition challenging the result of the 2023 presidential poll.
Justice Nancy Maldonado in a judgment dismissed the objection raised by Tinubu against Atiku’s request and expressly ordered that the CSU must submit the academic records to Atiku.
And the school obeyed the court order, releasing the documents on Monday night October 2, 2023 affirming that his results matched the ones he submitted to INEC.

But the school said they didn’t have an original copy of the diploma presented to Tinubu in 1979 and hence couldn’t produce it. They instead produced other people’s diplomas to prove that it looked the same as the one Tinubu was parading. So Dainty T, what exactly should we believe from the school? All of us will eventually have to admit that black is black after months of defending black as white.
Delete11:55, and that makes sense, as most things were still being done with typewriters back then. Computers became popular in the 1980s, and as far as the digitization of documents, who knows. My original birth certificate was handwritten and quite faded, just black and white. I updated and it is night and day what the updated birth certificate looks like compared to the old one. They could never reproduce my old birth certificate today, they have no ability to.
