  1. Every time I read/see/hear about couples giving birth after several years of marriage, my heart is filled with joy!
But, I also pause to wonder how they were strong enough to keep the faith all those years, knowing how vile, negative and wicked some Nigerians can be!
Even few months after marriage, some people go don dey ask stupid questions, as if they are stakeholders in your marriage. SMH!
God abeg, bless every couple trusting you for a child o. The insults, embarrassment and questions, can drive people to depression, divorce and even suicide.

    2. True Ali. I truly feel for the TTC women especially, all eyes are on them even when the man is the one with issues. You see the woman covering up for the man in some cases. Nigerians can send a TTC woman to an early grave if she is not strong.

I have a 10yr old daughter, I know what I have faced from Nigerians who believe something is wrong with us for not having more kids.
The other day, one foodstuff seller was telling one of her customers that has two kids(both sexes) that Igbos love plenty kids, the customer should have more kids for her husband who is her(seller's) Igbo brother. The customer who was not Igbo asked the seller to give her extra one cup of rice for a start. She told the seller that when she has another child, she would need the seller's support in feeding them. The seller felt offended and told her she doesn't joke with her business. That one too told the seller that she doesn't joke with her life choices and she should mind her business next time.

  3. Incontrovertible Benefits Of Fellowship!!
    2 Corinthians 13:14.

    Excerpts!!

"The Holy Spirit wants to be involved with every part of your life, and you must let Him. He wants your progress, advancement, prosperity, and success to be evident for all to see."

"Sometimes, a Christian might experience a period of remarkable growth and progress where things are moving swiftly and smoothly. However, there may be occasions when everything suddenly seems to stall. Despite attempting various strategies and ideas, nothing appears to change."

"The best thing to do if you want to come out of that situation and elevate your work to a higher level is to fast and pray with the understanding that you are initiating a change and transition within yourself.
Remember, the objective of the prayer and fasting is to nurture and develop an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit."

    Confession!!

Dear Father, thank you for the precious gift of the Holy Spirit - my Helper, Counselor, Teacher, Advocate, Comforter, Strengthener and Standby - whom you sent to lead and guide me through life, in fulfilling my destiny in Christ. Through my fellowship with the Holy Spirit, I walk in victory today, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

  5. HOLINESS IS THE ULTIMATE GOAL

Child of God, pursue holiness like an infant desperately seeks for breast milk, chase after it like a lion pursues it's prey, hunger for it like your stomach hungers for food. Because this is the visa to heaven.
If you think you can keep living in sin, because you can ask for forgiveness and he will always forgive you, then you are setting urself up for a rude shock wihich is destructive. 1thessalonians 5:2-4

God has called us to keep ourselves holy,1thess 4:7
Child of God stop doing the opposite because it will lead you to hell, seek holiness so that you can see God at the end of this race(your life on earth).heb 12:14
Keep urself holy if you want to make heaven, you know all those sinful practices you indulge in, even the ones your consience use to fault you of before you murdered it. Repent from it all and hate it, depart from evil and save your neck from hell before it is too late.

Practice holiness, live in holiness, fall into the ocean of holiness and see urself happily rejoicing in christ Jesus at the end of your race.

JESUS LOVES YOU, COME TO JESUS TODAY

    ROM 10:10
    Say this prayer of salvation

Dear lord jesus, I'm sorry for all my sins, please come into my life, i believe you died on the cross of calvary for me, and on the 3rd day you rose again, please come and be my lord and personal saviour. Please Wash away my sins and bring me into your loving light. Amen

  6. Some people are actually late sleepers while some are early sleepers. I usually don't stay outside my house once I'm back for the day. By 7pm I'm indoor and will only come out if I need to buy something. This is one thing my parents and siblings love so much about me. They know I'm not a wayward person or engage in night things outside.

By 9pm, I'm already on bed but won't be able to sleep till 11pm and most times 12mid morning.

My cousin who will just enter the house around 10pm and in less than 15mins, I will start to hear snoring in his room. If you tap him and he wakes, he goes back almost immediately but a slight noise will wake me and for the next one hour I will be begging sleep to come back to me.

I will spend most time of the night browsing or watching movies when I find it difficult to sleep again. Once it's approaching 4am, the sleep will now suddenly come.

Is this all about aging or what?

    Good Morning Guys.

    10. When you wake up like that don't waste that moment unnecessarily. Use it to praise God, pray or study your bible if you are a believer. Those are qualities of an intersessor that many don't know about. When you wake up by 2 or 4pm, it is an indirect reminder for you to pray about something...

  8. SHOW LOVE AND RESPECT

'Love each other...and honour others.' Romans 12:10 CEV

Dr James Dobson writes: 'One of the best ways to keep a marriage healthy is to maintain a system of mutual accountability within the context of love. This is done by protecting what I call the "line of respect"...Let me illustrate. Suppose I work in my office two hours longer than usual...knowing that my wife, Shirley, is at home preparing a special candlelight dinner. If I don't call to let her know I'll be late, you can bet that I'm going to hear about it when I get home. Shirley would see my behaviour as insulting - and she'd be right. So she'd say, in effect, "Jim, what you did was selfish, and I can't let it pass." In those few words, and probably a few more, she would have spoken her mind in love and held me accountable for my disrespect. Then we would move on together. In a healthy marriage, some things are worth defending, and mutual respect is at the top of the list. This doesn't mean you should nag, insult, publicly embarrass your mate, or point out insignificant indiscretions that should be overlooked. But a workable system of "checks and balances" can keep your marriage on course when issues of respect are at stake. This kind of mutual accountability is the best way I know to avoid an unexpected explosion when stored resentment and anger reach a critical mass.'

So: 'Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honouring each other' (Romans 12:10 NLT).

  10. Good Morn Stella,

You're free to crush on our sisters and friends here. But you sure say being a mother is what every woman wants in life? I have heard some women said they don't wanna give birth to a child. Some are even afraid of the process.

    1. Below 25 girls.. when ogbanje still dey worry them..
The same ones that'll be saying they don't need men in their lives and be doing anyhow..
Make them reach 30 first and then make you see them for Shiloh, and see pastors using them for all sorts, like the ones wearing wedding gowns to pray for husbands or the ones that'll be told to sow an amount of seed for pregnancy.

A wise man once said "women will first self destruct before they decide to have sense".

      Delete
    2. Boss,

That wise man couldn't have said it any way better than that but then I think sometimes, it's natural for people to make mistakes in life. That's where growth comes into play through the experience of our past.

      Delete
    3. 08:44 you didn't need to include the pregnancy part, act your age for once.
A woman can be TTC at any age after marriage. Some married in their early 20s and were TTC for years. It's your type that AliB is talking about up there. You will shame a TTC woman and mock her that she was unserious/wayward in her younger years that is why she is TTC.

      Delete
    4. Very true. Not every woman is interested in having a child irrespective of their age. I have a friend who said that in her 30s, we thought she was joking but now she is in her 50s married, still without a child. She was intentional about her choice of husband (a man that didn't want a child too) today they are happy and living peacefully, notwithstanding that there is no child in the picture.
Mind you, both married as virgins, so their being childless is not as a result of a wayward past, but simply, choice.
Ignore Dante's comments, he rolls in the mud with pigs( loose women) yet expects to come out clean and unblemished.

The discussion is about those that say they don't need a child and later you'll see them doing everything for one..

Make Una just dey observe 😉

Yea, few people are not interested in marriage or having a baby but they're the exception, not the majority that brag about this when young and want to live anyhow they like, then start to regret and become desperate when they get older.. let's stop putting wrong narrative out and trying to use an exception to try to negate a general truth

The same way you people only meet fvck boys too that makes you always insult men.. you attract your kinds too,😁😁

You probably went blind when I spoke above my adorable ex here and how I actually don't have your kinds in my space.. it's actually here I meet amotekun the most, the reason I don't even care about wanting to be close to most of you..

No No No, I'll stay humble, you won't make me brag about the kind of girls in my space but trust me, they're way way above you..

You see those girls I push you to be by my comments, the ones I want you to be, those are my girls..

I'll stop here before I'm forced to disclose stuff that I'll later regret I did cos it's not in me too brag ..

It has been two years of lack of sound sleep. I am more restless while asleep compared to day . My mind wonders far and wild while asleep. Most nights the nightmares are horror that I wake up gasping for breath.Single and alone.
I have visited hospitals. Done all manner of test and CT scan. All came out fine yet I can't sleep sound. . .
It is affecting my face. Every part of my body looks good and beautiful except my face. No cream seems to work on my face for the past months. I am looking way older than my real age. My friends are beginning to notice the sudden aging. Me that use to be a centre of attraction 😭😭😭😭. It was said to be as a result of restless mind.
I sleep but don't tend to have sound sleep or experience that part of sleep that nurishes the body 😭😭😭. The last ENT doctor I visited said it's cold/allergy because I am always having cough and tight chest. He gave me antibiotics which worked for few days and here I am again😭😭😭😭😭

  22. Reno Omokri says his truth without mincing words

I will not lie and say Bola Tinubu did not go to a school I know he went to, so you can love me and celebrate me. If you like, say I am hustling for an appointment. That shows the level of your intellect. So, you think Tinubu, as strategic as he is, will give someone who called him a drug lord in front of Chatham House a post? Look, your low mentality is your problem. It is not my duty to appease it.

Bola Tinubu, the male person currently occupying the office of President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, was admitted, attended, and graduated from Chicago State University. All these useless sites are just taking advantage of your Buhari-Is-A-Clone-From-Sudan gullibility. The word gender did not even come up yesterday in the court in Chicago. Go and look at the transcripts. These sites just used it because they know the types of I-Will-Believe-Anything-Negative-About-My-Enemy people they are dealing with. What Tinubu's lawyers said is that his private academic records should not be released.

Let me ask you a question: Will you allow your private academic records to be released to your political opponents when it is not required by law? In which country have you ever seen a President or Presidential candidate release his private academic records? Which candidate in the last election released his personal academic record? None! One of them was even so ashamed of the class of university degree he got that he chose to tender only his WAEC certificate to the INEC.

All you guys know how to do is insult and believe silly things. To avoid groupthink and herd mentality by reasoning critically and independently is forbidden to you. Continue, let me see where it will lead you.

And to those saying Tinubu paid me, if it is true, may I reduce each time you make that allegation. But if it is a lie, may I increase in wealth and fulfilment each time you accuse me. In Yeshua's Name.

Reno Omokri thumbs up Yoruba people of the SW

Although I have always admired the Yoruba for their very high culture of respect and diplomacy, which is encapsulated in the ethos of Omoluabi, but the 2023 campaign season deepened that affection.

When I disagree with them over politics, you see their responses. ‘Sir, it is not true’. ‘Egbon, I won’t agree’. ‘E sir, please don’t talk like that’. Even when they politically disagree with you, the Yoruba will still kill you with respect. Why won’t you love them?

That boorish, uncouth, vile and obnoxious behaviour we have all witnessed displayed by some people is significantly absent from them. If we can all agree to disagree without being disagreeable, like the Omoluabi, Nigeria will be a much sweeter place for all of us.

Such a cultured and refined people. A reflection of class and breeding. They stoop to conquer. Even when they disagree, by and large, they agree to disagree without being disagreeable. If everybody in Nigeria could imbibe their philosophy, Nigeria would be a paradise!

I will give them food yet they will keep disturbing me to buy all sorts for them. The shouts too is headache inducing. "Sit down there, stop beating her, come back here, don't touch that, what do you want? why are you crying?" oh Lord my God! In all we thank God for this gift.

Concerning the increase in the price of rice, a neighbour came back from Cotonou last night with half bag of rice. She said a bag of rice costs 24k over there, she bought half for 12k and used 5k for transportation. I asked why she didn't buy more, she said she would risk losing it if she does because it is contraband. She had to lie and beg at the check point that she bought that quantity for home use. She said those that sell it in large quantity know the tricks/procedures and money they use to bring it in.

As it is now, its like I will relocate to Cotonou since things are very cheap there.

    1. Asia, let us relocate together 😄
Stuff are actually cheap there. I buy their sandals and slippers, beautiful designs yet very cheap.
Cement is also cheaper there. Fish, fruits, Vegetables and other food stuff are cheap. In fact, everything is cheap in Cotonou.

Motherhood is worth celebrating. It is not easy dedicating most part of your life for raising a child/children. A great sacrifice it is.
    I celebrate all mothers.
May God help us to raise good children.

It is worth celebrating. I remember turning down one lucrative job in a multinational company back then because it would not give me time to take care of my children who were still toddlers.

    2. Fatee you remind me of how I couldn't work in companies because I needed time for my baby as hubby worked too. I took up teaching job instead just to be with her. The sacrifices sha.

  42. For the first time since I started sewing, I sewed my finger three days ago. Needle pierced through my nail a d came out on the other side of my finger. The pain was serious.
When I got home, it had dried up and I don't think much about it. I kept using it to wash and cook.
Fast forward to this morning, the site is giving me whitlow vibes. I have started aggressive resistance with very hot objects. Whitlow that disfigures people's fingers, not my portion.

    1. Sorry Fatee
Use lime, cut in two and wear one half on the infected nail. Wear it for a long time on each day , in two days, it will dry up.
I learnt it from the internet and it works.

Some days, the network is like that. Maybe you should use another network provider for browsing. I buy data on two different network providers, if one of them is misbehaving, I switch to the other sim.
I remember one day when 9mob went off for two days, I switched to my Air.., I also have MT.. for browsing incase the other two decide to be stupid.
