  1. To be honest, most of us want bad things to happen to those who have offended us - like make thunder faya dem or make dem suffer for 600 years. LoL.
But truth is, life nor be Nollywood. Your enemies may eventually live to be more successful than you. In fact, you fit die before them sef. 😂
If someone offends you, just find peace in your heart and move on. Focus on your journey and growth, instead of anticipating calamity on your 'enemies'.

    1. Yes! I will move on and find peace but to be honest with you, there are people I can never forgive in this life. I will loathe them with everything in me and pray they suffer at various point of their lives.

One declarative statement I have mastered the act of saying always is, may I never be a blessing to anyone whose intention is to see me destroyed in life.

You may not like that statement from me but that's me being blunt and straightforward.

Some people are very mean and wicked at the same time.

Yes, i want bad things to happen to those that have offended me terribly and they will all experience the consequences of their actions.

    3. But some people are the mother of wickedness. If they don't die. Wickedness will multiply.

    4. If everyone have the power to cause calamity to one who offends us, no one would be remaining in this world. God did great by not giving us that power because a lot of people utter certain things out of anger and regret it later in when they're sober

My prayer always is for God to make me heal from what ever grievous evil to me. I don't dwell in the past and their prayer works alot, not easy at all, but works.
If you don't let go, you will not have peace. Dear Slutty & TJ try this let's see.

    9. Teejay: I get your point bro. But like I always tell my friends, if Jesus Christ, who was blameless and perfect, could be betrayed and killed by the very people He helped, healed and fed, then who I be, wey people nor go betray me or show me wickedness? LoL.
Omoh, I have made peace with that. Na why I dey my lane and mind my business. My wife and kids are my best friends.

  4. Lack of clarity means you have no direction.
    No direction means you're lost.
Being lost means you have no success.

    - Define your goals
    - Write them down
    - Break them into small steps
    - Review
    - Revise
    - And then Act

In all, be intentional and set your priorities right.

  5. Leverage On Heritage!!
    Acts 7:32.

    Excerpts!!

"Though the Word of God teaches us about greatness, being greater than another should never be your dream. You can desire to advance or surpass previous generations in your exploits, but don’t make it about greatness. Leverage on heritage."

"So, even if you’ve achieved higher educational success than your biological father, for example, remember that his role in bringing you into existence makes him greater than you. As great as you are, you’re his product, you came from him, so that makes him greater than you for you to honour him the way God wants you to."

"Recognizing this principle is vital. It’s one of the reasons we have great honour for those whom God sent before us in ministry, because without them, we wouldn't have what we have today. Through them, the Scriptures have been preserved through the ages; they diligently protected and passed down these precious teachings—the Scriptures that guide our lives. So, we remain grateful for what was done for us, leveraging on our heritage."

    Confession!!

Dear Father, I thank you for my parents, spiritual leaders, mentors and everyone who has played a significant role in shaping my life and making me who I am today. Thank you Lord, for the wisdom I've gained from them, the experiences and the examples they've set for me to live the victorious life, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

  11. So one of my boys lost his money this morning when he woke up from sleep. I already picked the money at the staircase when I was going down to brush. I saw how he was searching for it and asked him what is he looking for and he said something. The tiler asked him after few minutes when he saw him again and he responded to him that he lost N3,500

When he went upstair, I told the tiler I picked that money. I will let him search for it for an hour or two before I will give him. So next time he would be careful. He's still searching and I am still staring with him with the side eyes😂😂😂😂

If anyone had picked that money at the site, I doubt he will get it back. People need to be careful in this Bobo Chicago era to be losing money like that.

It's a cold morning here. Let me look for something to ginger my body and spirit.

  17. Reno Omokri on the Nigerian civil war and the need for some intellectual exposé

Some people ask why I am bringing up the history of the Nigerian Civil War. It is straightforward, really. Because it is the duty of intellectuals to expose lies told by propagandists, through digging up facts. If I, or other Nigerian scholars, had been alive to our responsibility years ago, charlatans would not have filled the vacuum, and used Radio Biafra and other channels, to manipulate millions of our brothers and sisters into hating their fellow Nigerians citizens, as well as their country with lies such as that:

Ojukwu released Awolowo (he did not. Awolowo was released by Lt. Colonel Gowon on August 1, 1966).

Awolowo and the Yorubas betrayed Ojukwu and the Igbos (not true. Awolowo tried to prevent war by visiting Ojukwu and urging him not to secede. When he failed, Wole Soyinka visited him for the same purpose and was imprisoned by Gowon for 22 months).

Biafra was fighting a purely defensive war (false. The Republic of Biafra invaded and occupied the Midwest between August 9 – September 20, 1967. They appointed an Igbo Biafran named Major Albert Okonkwo, as the Military Governor, and killed many civilians without trial, as well as robbed the vaults of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Benin Branch, and also invaded the Western Region and captured Ore, in present day Ondo state).

That Chief Awolowo said, "Starvation is a legitimate weapon of war" (Awolowo never said that. That is a Radio Biafra lie. Chief Awolowo, to the chagrin of the then Head of State, ensured humanitarian relief was sent to Biafra, but Radio Biafra convinced the civilians that Chief Awolowo had poisoned the food, and much of it was diverted to feed Biafran troops).

That Yorubas are cowards (not true. The most successful Nigerian Army fighting troops were the Third Marine Commando, under Colonel Benjamin Adekunle, and later Colonel Olusegun Obasanjo, who defeated the Republic of Biafra and took their surrender).

That Biafra had a legal right to secede (not true. The idea for a secession clause was mooted by Chief Obafemi Awolowo in 1954, during the Lagos Constitutional Conference, but Nnamdi Azikiwe rejected it and galvanised a majority of the conference attendees to kill the idea.

After this was rejected, Chief Awolowo again wrote to the then Governor General of Nigeria, who rejected the clause on the grounds that the majority, led by Nnamdi Azikiwe, were not in support of it.

It was because of Nnamdi Azikiwe that section 86 was inserted into our constitution with the proviso that if any region should secede, it will be an act of treason.

Nnamdi Azikiwe himself wrote about this in an essay, which was published by the New Nigerian Newspapers in 1975, and has since been republished by other papers and by Mr Azikiwe himself.

Were it not for Azikiwe, Biafra would have had the legal right to secede.)

So, if you are upset that I am exposing all these facts, please ask those trying to revise history to stop, and there will be no need for me to debunk their claims.

  18. Reno Omokri knocks you-know-who

But for his hubris, Peter Obi may have been Nigeria's vice President today, with a good chance of taking over from Waziri Atiku Abubakar in 2031. But he took advice from a madman at upper Iweka. And foolishly believed that a united Peoples Democratic Party that could not defeat the ruling All Progressives Congress in 2019 could now divide in 2023 and conquer the APC that we could not defeat when we were united. Did I not say it before? A trader is different from a leader. Peter Obi will lose at the Supreme Court. He will lose if he runs again in 2027. And he will keep on losing until he either gets tired of losing or running.

It's this waste that makes Nigeria the poverty capital of the world.
Do you know what 355 billion naira can do in the country?
We decided to use it for BVAS so well, that our votes would count for the very first time and still they said there was network glitch.. is the right thing to do not to re-run the election? Or how can you spend that huge amount on something and not get the value for what you got it for?

    I don't just understand..
Since you knew you would still do your abrakadabra why didn't you just invest that huge sum of money into the economy to make life easier for the citizen, even if it's to pay for fuel subsidy, that would have counted for something..

But no! They must do something foolish always and nobody would be held accountable for the nonsense..

When the consequences of these mess come to fruition, let us remember the root cause tho✌️

  30. PURSUE GOD WHOLEHEARTEDLY

'I long for you, O God.' Psalm 42:1 NLT

Are you having difficulty understanding God's ways? Even though we can look back and see how hand of blessing and guidance on us, at times we still feel afraid and alone. Jesus himself cried, 'My God...why have you forsaken me' (Matthew 27:46 NKJV)? Those words could be interpreted, 'I may not understand what's happening right now, but I know you're still my God.' What assurance!

Have you ever seen a child reach for a parent's hand and say, 'Slow down; you're walking too fast'? The child's afraid of getting lost or left behind. Is that how you feel today? Like you can't keep up? That life is moving way too fast? The Bible says, 'As the deer longs for streams of water...I long for you, O God' (Psalm 42:1 NLT). You don't 'long' for something unless you value it and need it. Only raw need will cause you to turn away from every means of support and pursue God, because you know that without him you won't make it. The truth is, if you didn't need him so desperately, you could easily become satisfied with lesser things.

When you pursue God with all your heart: (1) You enter the realm where 'all things are possible' (Mark 10:27 NKJV). (2) You grow more Christlike, because you become like the company you keep (see 2 Corinthians 3:18). (3) You learn that certain levels of blessing are only reached when you diligently seek God (see Hebrews 11:6). Are you weary of human answers? Do you need more than just good advice? Choose to pursue God wholeheartedly and let him speak to you.

  53. Books have increased in prices. I was shocked yesterday when I went to buy books in the market where they sell wholesale. I thought the school had inflated the prices, I never knew the books are truly now very expensive.
    God will help us

  58. So this my customer has been sick for months, it's a recurring sickness that we don't even know its name. Today, it can come as ulcer, chronic stomach pain, they will admit her in the hospital, even take her to her village when hospital cannot help her. After two weeks or one month, she will be fine and return to the city. A few days later, she will fall sick again with another type of sickness, it may be neck pain, serious one that they would have to rush her to her village again as hospital would not be able to diagnose the sickness. They usually treat her the native way over there.
This keeps going on for over five months now. She is now a shadow of herself, very thin. People are saying it is an arrow shot at her by wicked people. I wish there is a way I can help aside praying for her. I want to tell her to relocate from this area, she has a business here that was doing fine, now under lock and key.
I think the person responsible for it is in this area. Let her just relocate her shop and apartment to another area for the sake of her life, since they are both rented. Won't they see me as a hater? We don't do the same business though.

Work has resumed for teachers, learners will resume by Monday. I pray we have new learners, maybe our salary will increase.
I'm still here because of the love I have for kids and teaching, if you don't have a passion for teaching, you can't continue with this job in this present economy.
