There are people who speak so well too but can't write. One of my sisters colleague always runs to her to cover up for his inability to write. She always does until it could no longer be hidden and he was sacked. But if you hear him speak, hmm

  2. Pray For A Receptive Heart!!
    James 1:21.

    Excerpts!!

"When you share God's Word with others, no matter what you say, it may not work unless the Holy Spirit ministers to their heart."

"When you pray for others in this context, it's not about you, but your hearers, that the Lord will give them a receptive heart, and that the darkness that blinds their hearts be dispelled and the power of evil holding them in bondage is broken."

"Always pray earnestly for those to whom and with whom you share the Word of God. When you do, the transformative power of the Word that brings conviction, understanding, and a desire for a closer relationship with the Lord will be kindled within their hearts."

    Prayer!!

Dear Father, I pray that the minds of those to whom I preach the Gospel be receptive to your Word as your wisdom leaps out of the message and inundates their hearts; they'll walk the path of wisdom, knowledge and understanding, being enlightened, refreshed, informed and strengthened to fulfil their purpose in Christ, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

  4. GOD’S IN CHARGE, TRUST HIM

'My hope is in you.' Psalm 39:7 NKJV

Life seldom works out exactly the way we hope or think it will. When Job lost everything, he said, 'I don't have the strength to endure. I have nothing to live for... I am utterly helpless, without any chance of success' (Job 6:11, 13 NLT). Yet in the end, Job got back twice as much as he had lost. But the experiences and adversities he had gone through changed his attitude towards God profoundly. 'I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted...My ears have heard of you but now my eyes have seen you' (Job 42:2, 5 NIV). What had Job discovered? That God is sovereign! He is not our servant, we are his servants. We must obey his word in order to walk in his blessing - but the final outcome of all things rests in his hands and not ours.

Many of us struggle with control, not only over our circumstances, but our goals, plans, relationships and all that concerns us. Such fear is often an indication of an unconscious desire to be independent of God; to be the master of our own destiny. Sometimes it's the result of growing up in a chaotic environment and resolving never to repeat the experiences of your earlier life. Perhaps you think you're in control of your life due to your educational, financial or other achievements. It isn't true. God enabled you to do everything that you have done.

Paul writes, 'But whatever I am now, it is all because God poured out his special favour on me' (1 Corinthians 15:10 NLT). Today God is in charge - trust him!

  5. Most Ladies don't need nice guys. Being nice is a weakness to them. It is a sign they don't want you. Do something extraordinary for a girl, she will surely see you as being a mugu. She lies to you and gets money from you, and immediately she feels you are a fool.

Most of them are not loyal to nice guys, but loyal to those dealing with them.

    4. At the risk of attack, I will still explain this, cos those that are learning are learning..

It's Sh!t testing bro. Google the word.
Ladies test men.. silly dumb tests, but they'll still do it. They'll come up with nonsense talks that makes no sense and see how you respond to it, your response would determine how they move around you. Your response would define how your treated.

With women, how you start is how you end

      Let me give some examples..

      1. Your girlfriend tells you a guy took her on a date.. does this make any sense to anyone with common sense? You think she doesn't know it's a stupid thing to do? But you, Mr woke is smiling and forming understanding man just because you don't want her to call you insecure and possessive. Would she understand if you tell her you took a girl on a date? What's the difference? She expected you not to understand that rubbish, it might even be that such a date never happened, she just wanted to see your reaction. You not laying down rules at that point but forming understanding has disappointed her. You have failed the test. You can't be the father her children needs, people would ride on the family because you are weak and not smart. Don't be surprised when she start treating you anyhow after. You'll just be complaining up and down that you always try to understand and give her freedom, still she still keeps disrespecting and disregarding you. - give a woman a step and she'll take a mile.

      2. A random girl asking you for a favour. Everyone knows that nothing is free. We all know this deep within us. You see how some people get angry here when people that don't comment come to apply or get giveaway, that because the least you can do is to be active or partially active here as a support to the blog. Nothing is free bro, so when a random girl ask for a favour, she knows she should expect something to do back in return, someone who doesn't even chat with you or return your chats and call,. O wrong nah.. you have to either refuse, call her out on her bullsh!t or ask for something in return, even though you are not looking forward to it. You can ask for a date, or whatever, just let her know that the favour you're rendering is a "down payment for a roasted corn" don't fall for all those manipulative talks about how when you give, don't expect anything in return and God would bless you. It's still part of the testing bro.. this is how you keep your respect. If not, you'll be among those guys that always complain of how babe only remember you when they need help and then disappear after.

      3. Telling you she has a male bestie.. read number one to understand this abeg. I don tire..

      Pay attention..

      Blessings

  8. SINFUL PRAYERS
    James 4:1-3

Most of us are guilty of this, we ask amiss we ask selfishly, even arrogantly.

Is it because God said in matt 7:7 ask and ye shall receive.

Why are your requests and prayer points filled with selfishness, you desperately pray to God for a car so that you will pepper your neighbor and friends, you want a job in other to show your ex that she or he made a mistake by ditching you, you want to get married in other to show your bestie that you are more prettier than her. You want to give birth in other to silence your mockers, especially your inlaws
Child of God, repent from this selfishness.

Atimes in your prayers, you insult God, how can you be asking for something from a powerful being like him and you will not add please.
If you are given an opportunity to see the president, will you say president tinubu give me a job in Jesus name, won't you postrate, role and add please and reverance before you state your request.

How can you command heaven to open it's Windows of heaven and pour out her blessing unto you. Are you the owner of heaven, you cannot command what is superior to you, you beg God to please open his heaven.
God only gave us dominion over earth and everything in it, heaven is not part of it please.
Repent from your arrogant prayers and stop dragging authority with God in your prayers

Everyone is busy making demands upon demands from God, have you sat down one day to ask him, God what exactly do you want, what is your own need that i should fulfill it.
Do you think he has no need

Child of God, God's need is the salvation of souls, why he keeps answering your prayers look for a way to please him, make him happy.

When was the last time you prayed for your neighbor, colleagues, people in the streets, your enemies, that your wicked step mother etc.

Have you ever prayed for all those pastors you think are busy collecting offering to enrich their pocket, why don't you pray that God should change them instead of condemning them.

Don't you know you can pray for souls to get saved, there are missionaries in hot zones working desperately to reap the lost for God, your prayer can go a long way in strengthening and protecting them.

There are so many ways you can please God instead of being a leach, always wanting to get this or that from him without care for his own needs.
Repent from your sinful prayers and make a request like a Godly child.

Always make your request in humility and wisdom
Start by thanking and praising him for all he has done for you and everyone
(Dying on the cross for the whole world)

    JESUS LOVES YOU.
    COME TO JESUS TODAY

    Rom 10:10
    Say this prayer of salvation

Dear lord jesus, I'm sorry for all my sins, please come into my life, i believe you died on the cross of calvary for me, and on the 3rd day you rose again, please come and be my lord and personal saviour. Please Wash away my sins and bring me into your loving light. Amen

  18. If your kids school is trekkable, you don't know what you have. My sister told me she spends roughly 2000 everyday for transporting her kids to their school. If she takes her car, she would spend more than that on fuel, if they use school bus, she would pay more than that for the three kids and they will be going late to school and coming late to the house.

Asia it is not that simple o. If they change school, they will spend so much. New set of uniforms for the three kids alone is huge, then new books, tuition fees and others. They will spend so much. They have to plan for that. Speaking from my experience.

      Delete
    4. I forgot to add that there may not be a good school around their house.

    6. The best she can do is to look for a good school around them, that thing is stress , a should be a trekable distance if you re not around they can come on their own, if your too busy to drop them same thing, if it's raining nko they can come home on time without you panicking about drainage and heavy downpour, this economy parents should limit stress on them and their kids, so that you go know say na money for feeding and bills you dey hustle for

    7. Wow that's a whole lot. Why don't you advise her to change their school. It is well.

  19. Reno Omokri knocks those calling Wole Soyinka a bigot

A bigot calling Wole Soyinka a bigot? Really? My dear, go and find out what Wole Soyinka did for the starving people of Biafra and the price he paid for doing that. The man has been fighting for truth, justice and democracy before most of Nigeria's population was born. And now he is a bigot because he says the apparent truth about Peter Obi being a big fat loser? Then, open the dictionary and search for the word bigot. It may probably have your photo illustrating the word.

Reno Omokri suggests what the PBAT's administration should not do and what he feels is ideal

In my opinion, the Tinubu administration should not introduce policies to increase the value of the Naira. ₦1000 to $1 is ideal. Why? Because it will make imports so expensive, which will force Nigerians to turn to locally manufactured goods and services. The highest GDP growth rate in Nigeria's history occurred during the Nigerian Civil War when imports dropped to an abysmal level because most traders doing mass imports fled Lagos. And because we were not importing, local manufacturing blossomed, especially in the Ikeja industrial zone, and modern day Ogun State, and we experienced a GDP growth rate of 24.20% in 1969 and 25.01% in 1970. Immediately after the war, when traders returned to Lagos, and mass imports resumed, our GDP fell from 25.01% in 1970 to 3.36% in 1972 and has never hit those levels again.

As long as we keep importing, we will never have a strong and stable economy. Japan, India, Vietnam and Indonesia deliberately weakened their currencies to promote exports and local consumption, and it worked. We must make sacrifices and do the same in Nigeria, or else we will keep frittering away our foreign reserves, importing needles and toothpicks from Asia, tomato paste and frozen pizzas from Europe, and other goods and services that can be made in Nigeria. And only traders will benefit. The manufacturing and service sectors of the economy will not.

Let Nigerians dump MTN and Airtel for Glo, let us shun British Airways for Air Peace, let us drink ogi and akamu instead of Birdseye custard, and let us use groundnut oil from Kano instead of olive oil from Italy and Spain. The more local goods and services we consume, the more our economy will improve. The only thing I urge the government to do is to reduce taxes and eliminate VAT on locally manufactured goods and services. Oya, insult me!

Get lime or lemon, cut in two, use one half to scrub her armpits, rinse, do it for her morning and night. You can use baking soda(sodium bicarbonate) instead, after she bathes, look for a small towel and use the soda to scrub her armpits and rinse off.

I still bathe my 10yr sometimes. I supervise her bathing most times. My 12yr old son, i supervise his bathing or ask hubby to do so. These kids don't bathe well. Their body needs scrubbing especially the armpits, neck, legs and back, boys' head, etc.
Their ears need cleaning too, then supervise how they wash their private parts. It starts from bathing. Make them wash their panties and boxers too.

      Delete
    8. Instead of roll on. Why not try deodorant sprays. That way it dries faster and wears for longer. You should also from time to time, bathe her.

You can even use good old lemon on her armpits. It will help check perspiration. She is undergoing puberty so her hormones are on high charge now.

  33. *Throwback Thursday*
I remember our time, we used textbooks and passed them to our younger ones. Five siblings can use one set of textbooks.
Today, things have changed. It's either they change the approved textbooks for the school after two years or the textbooks are made in such a way that the kids write in them, another child cannot use them.
Imagine a 5yr old in nursery two and all the textbooks cost 43k plus. I have bought the important ones and left the rest, let me not come and go and die before my time.

    1. It's not funny at all. A lot of things have changed in the schools. Everything is so expensive.

    2. The reason was because we attended government schools back then.
Even now, in government schools, they don't change textbooks anyhow. My kids attend one, so I know.
Private schools need money to pay bills, so they do all sorts.

    3. It's so frustrating because the publishers wants to make money every session with upgrade.
You will see that the secondary school textbook were changed with edition. The pages will not align with the one of years ago.
Thank God I have just my daughter and last son in secondary school. It's financially draining.

    4. Suave, those days our parents no do pass themselves. They put us in government Schools, they rent house that don't have running water but very cheap, we would fetch water everyday but rent payment was not hard. They bought new clothes during festive period, not every week parties and birthdays..
      Life was simple those days.

How can I put my 5yrs old in a school where the books alone is over 40k? I dey craze? Will they teach him how to live long on Earth and enter heaven?

  40. On the dumbest thing I did as a kid, my own story.
When I was like 7 to 10. I would sit at a corner and practice how they cry in movies. You remember Hilda dokubo and the rest of them cry cry, I would wonder how they do it and think of sad things that happened to me and cry, serious cry with catarrh streaming down my mouth. Now what were the sad things that made me cry? the day I lost my beautiful pencil, the day my dad sold his car and we started trekking, the day my sibling lied on me and I was flogged.
One day, my mum came in unawares and caught me crying one of the mumu cry, I lied to her that I dreamt that she died. She joined me and cried while rebuking the dream 🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣
