  1. It's a new session in schools, and it comes with the whole wahala of uniforms, books and increased fees. A lot of parents have been forced to take their kids to 'cheaper' schools, against their wish, because they can't cope with the outrageous sums in their preferred choices....
Personally, I think this is the MOST difficult time to be a parent. To raise pikin for dis awa generation, nor be beans at all. E really choke!
My prayer for every parent, is that God will show us mercy, and enable us to provide the best for our kids, every step of the way. It is well. πŸ™

NB: I'd like to thank SDK (a woman very dear to my heart), and the entire SDK Yard pipo, for the love yesterday. I couldn't reply all the messages here, but my family and I, are truly grateful for your kind words. Allah ya bar zumunci.

    3. @pretty Mary your comment is heart breaking. I pray God comes through for you. meanwhile can't you buy the books in the market, most of these schools call exorbitant and outrageous prices for books, when you go to the market it is way less

    5. The truth is that school funding has always been a challenge for majority of parents from time.

This is one reason all parents who "effortlessly" funded their children's schooling should be hailed, respected, and given their dues while alive.

My father was a number one school funder. Now I know and fully understand what he did for me.

I wish he was alive when I got married and became a parent.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Heavenly Father we come before you this saturday morning and we asked that you give us eyes to see and ears to hear what the holy spirit is saying. Draw us closer to you so that we may feel your precious presence and experience your goodness in Jesus name πŸ™
Lord we asked, you teach us to be more like you. How to walk in kindness, mercy, love, integrity, and boldness. Let us become an extension of your hands and feet to this world in Jesus name πŸ™

  3. Trust In The Lord!!
    Proverbs 3:5-6.

    Excerpts!!

"Society is built on trust; we have to trust its systems and structures; we have to trust the seeming goodness of the human person, but we cannot do it blindly."

"However, trust, just like faith, must be directed to the Word of God. It must be based on God's Word. How important it is to put the Word into you especially in these days in which we live."

"Irrespective of the incongruities, depravities, decadences, and immoralities in today’s society, put your trust in the Lord and His unfailing Word."

    Confession!!

My faith is based on the Word, and it's alive, active and prevailing. Circumstances align with my faith-filled confessions, and I rule, reign and dominate my world by my faith. I've taken a hold of the eternal realities of the Kingdom, walking in the full blessings of the Gospel of Christ! My life is for the glory of God, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

You don't need to tell them now.

    5. Yes, it is compulsory to inform both families. It may not be immediately.
This is to enable them prepare for your delivery. You know one mother will come and take care of you and baby, others will attend naming ceremony. So they have to prepare.

I want to go and see my baby ooo😭😭😭.

So those of you whose partner stays abroad working, how do you cope?

Growing up in life, I have always faulted people spending hugely on luxurious living and wares. I would imagined why won't such amount of money be used for acquiring assets or properties.

In one of my arguments with a man on this issue, I told him it can never be me buying things so expensive when there are bills to pay or assets to acquire.

The man said to me, ''My son make the money first and then come back for this discussion.''

He ended up with those words.

Years later I bought this nice and quality pair of shoes @30,000. It was the first of it kind I'm spending that heavy on a shoe. Before then, my shoes doesn't exceed 8,000 and my clothing were also very cheap as well. I wouldn't have agreed I will ever get clothes so costly today but here we are trying to live the good life.

I think I remember that man now and his words.

Today, I'm still looking for the assets and properties I had acquired before spending on myself and I found none.

Never criticize a life you haven't lived or fault anyone choice of living.

    Good Morning Guys!!!

You may also get side customers that will take your contact if your work is good and you can start building your clientele through home services on the side before opening your own salon. The amount you charge seems ridiculous, even for roadside shanty salons.

  16. Reno Omokri speaks up on Wole Soyinka being insulted by Obidients

Look at how Obidients are now insulting Professor Wole Soyinka left, right and centre for speaking what we all know to be true. Of course, Peter Obi did not win the elections. And he can NEVER be President of a united Nigeria after the Yes Daddy audio leak. But see how they are making caricatures against Soyinka. These were the same things that some people did after January 15, 1966, and provoked a conflagration that almost destroyed Nigeria. Sadly, the only thing some people learn from history is that they don't learn from history.

Look at the official statement from Peter Obi/Labour Party spokesman, brazenly accusing Soyinka of tribalism. The same Soyinka that was jailed by Gowon for 22 months because of his support for the Republic of Biafra?

Didn't Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie once publicly criticise Bola Tinubu and INEC, as well as the results of the #NigerianElections2023? How many supporters of the APC insulted her? How many of them created disrespectful caricatures insulting her? Or do you think they don't have mouths like you and are not multi-medially talented enough to do caricatures?

I shudder to think of what Nigeria would have been like if Peter Obi won the election. You criticise, and you disappear. No freedom of speech. Those who claim marginalisation would actually do multiple times worse if they had power. Anyway, we are watching.

The same man stood firm and called Alhaji Tinubu a name. He relied on a judgement of a court in the United States of America.

When Alhaji Tinubu and Alhaji Buhari went to the UK at different times, Reno Omokri led protests against them. Was all he did then right? Were all he said against them by words and placards true?

Do you also agree with Reno Omokri's interpretation of the judgment of the USA court againsts Alhaji Tinubu and the judgment of the court.

By the way, Alhaji Tinubu admits that the court gave the judgment against him. My question is do you agree with Reno Omokri's interpretation of the judgment.

You may want to check before you answer.

Till you answer, leave Reno Omokri's repeats.

  17. Reno Omokri had this to say with pictorial evidence

I cannot vouch for Bola Tinubu in other areas. And I will continue to assert truthfully that Waziri Atiku Abubakar would have been a better President. But I physically went to Chicago State University. Others now talking, did not go. If the current President of the Nigerian Union of Journalists is willing to act as a referee and provide me with an account number, I am willing to put down $10,000 against any journalist saying that Tinubu, a male and the current President of Nigeria, did not attend and graduate Chicago State University.

Nigerians need to understand mature politics. That I am unwilling to lie against Tinubu does not mean I have abandoned Atiku and now support Tinubu. I support Atiku today, tomorrow, and for the foreseeable future. However, I support truth FOREVER!

Reno Omokri discloses the 'biggest scam' in the world

The biggest scam in the world is a pastor or priest saying, 'I now pronounce you man and wife'. That is a lie. No priest on Earth has such a power, either from God or government. None whatsoever. If you go and perform that farcical charade called church wedding and don't do a traditional marriage or registry marriage, that woman is, at best, your girlfriend!

I don't know why my people allow themselves to be deceived by church and religion. Carry Scripture and read. All Scriptural marriages were done at home and involved only the couple's family. No priest at all. Once the girl's family accepts the man's request to traditionally marry their daughter, o pa ri, according to Yoruba! The only other alternative is registry marriage, not any entitled church pastor or priest!

I want to thank God for what he's done in my life by going anonymous to share this, it might not be a big deal to anyone, but it is to me

In years 20090,I was diagnosed with HIV,went to different hospital, same result, while my fiance then now husband tested negative.

Look at me now, Years later, no sickness, never been admitted and never will as the lord lives. Hubby was and still very caring, never used it against me, my children went for hiv test yesterday because their new school requested,we changed their school cos of distance,I was scared though they all ran hiv test at age 2,but I haven't done since then, all their test came out negative, indeed God is wonderful to me, please help me appreciate God on my behalf and say a prayer to me and my family.

I pray I see the end of this disease,it won't see my end .
. recently, hubby told me the reason he's not keen about me working in an office is cos he doesn't want to expose me to stigmatisation, that we live in a small town that who knows who may have seen me at the clinic where I pick drugs, that man protects me like anything, nobody in both our families are aware not even my sisters.

    10. @08:43, let me educate you a little, Cancer kills faster and more people have died from it, than from AIDS, which is as a result of HIV. The antiviral drugs are taken to reduce the viral load until it is undetectable, when undetectable, an HIV + person can have unprotected sex without passing it on to partner or children. It entails constant blood tests and ensuring you stick to the anti viral drugs, religiously.

      Delete
    11. 8:43
There’s a lot of medication for management of HIV. There is medication to keep vial levels low in the blood such that chances of transmitting the virus is almost as low as zero. There is also medication that the partner can take before having unprotected intercourse with HIV positive individuals to reduce chances of acquiring the virus.

    5. 8:29, let them keep up with the lies. People are wiser now. Nor be this country we dey?

    6. You are absolutely spot on @Stella
This is exactly what the Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo said

    7. Stella you've time oooo. Some people feel they apply common sense but what they apply is emotional sense of entitlement. I guess that's the definition of "brilliance " to them.

Everyone with sense will know there are protocols to follow in such situations. If there wasn't such agreement, he won't have made the announcement.

      Delete
    8. But Stella in mouth only? It has to be on paper na, for it to be an agreement, if not on paper, signed, sealed and delivered, then dont make s press release to hoodwink the gullible masses. I still dey observe....

    10. The Ajuri guy is synonymous with lies before na. They said his own lies pass Lai Mohammed own

      Delete
    11. But Stella the anonymous 8:29, just used his/her brains now. If an agreement was made without clarification, then we can as well call them liars. In the bid to show how they are working efficiently, they put out press release that is contrary to what's on ground.

    12. CNN asked the UAE about the lifting of the ban and were told that nothing has changed and the ban is still in place. Does that not make the govt. look like liars/propagandists? How do you make such announcements based on oral discussion? Until it's written and signed, there is no agreement. Anyone with common sense know this. The right announcement would have been that discussions are in progress and they are making headway to have it lifted. You don't try to deceive people into believing that the issue has been resolved. It's either you are incompetent to understand what transpired between your boss and the UAE or you want to keep deceiving Nigerians. That's the foundation on which Bubu was elected. $1 to 1 naira, chibok girls to be rescued within 30 days etc. What was the dollar rate when he left office?

These Gen Z are so annoying on Twitter and other social media apps, that the smart phones they have are actually smarter than them, they don’t even wanna surf the net or research things to broaden their knowledge! Just Tick tok and vibes!.... how can’t they know or find out that “Confraternities” are legal? Cuz SEC dropped a Memo, they all went ballistic!! Nne na wa o!,... We millennials have to help this Generation, because the Gen Alphas are going to school us!

1926 Mexican artist Frida Kahlo was severely injured in a bus accident, and during her recovery she began painting and soon abandoned her plans for a career in medicine.

1939 During World War II the Soviet army invaded Poland from the east—joining Germany, which had launched its attack several weeks earlier—and the Polish government fled to Romania.

1991 North Korea and South Korea were admitted to the United Nations.

2011 The first Occupy Wall Street protest was held in the United States, as some 1,000 demonstrators marched in Manhattan before occupying Zuccotti Park; the movement, which eventually went global, sought to highlight corporate greed and income inequality, among other issues

  25. Let them know Confraternities are Legal, they are also a Social group, although they have some rotten eggs, but they are recognized under the law! That’s why we have the delta, sigma phi Confraternities e.t.c in Yankee and other countries, you have to be a Scholar to even belong! *sigh* I was so pissed seeing comments on Twitter I had to log off for my sanity!
