  7. Stella, no need to post

AC later ACN, and now APC and the fuel importers cartel were the financiers of most protests (especially the last Ojota one) by labour and "pro democracy" NGOs that have gone on or troubled Nigeria and were used against Dr. Goodluck Jonathan's Government. Since APC took over Government in Nigeria, no national strike has succeeded.

Ajaero (current NLC leader) scuttled the last nearly successful strike to support APC. Since then, he lost credibility.

A payee whose records are in the payers hands cannot cough anyhow otherwise the payee sees anyhow. NLC is just raking.

  8. Strike to achieve what exactly? NLC and TUC altogether make up less than 7 percent of the Nigerian workforce. If they close the ports and down tools at the petroleum industry, they will only succeed in reducing the IGR and that way, there is less available for anyone to pay them with. I continue to ask organized labor: with many states unable to pay the current 30k and owing pensions for years, where is the rest of the money for an increase supposed to come from with Nigeria much poorer than before?
