    2. You have no proof of money being stolen. An engineer who founded and owned the biggest elevator manufacturing, installation and service firm in west Africa before going into politics, cannot be poor.

The same people rejoicing over the destruction of this building are complaining of hard times and near-joblessness but will support a man who invested state money in his own business interests but rejected land worth peanuts since he had already used states assets to indirectly swell his pockets and please his shareholders.

I don't know why the poor are so unkind to each other.

  2. If they are sure the building was erected using state funds, then why not seize it? The building can be used to house government-related businesses/NGOs/ministries. They could even rent it out for the purpose it was built, and use that money to fund projects around the state!

Why demolition it - losing present and future jobs; income etc?

  7. I just know that one day these people will turn against themselves. Someone else will tear down or seize his building when his reign is over.

  9. These are facts behind DATKEM PLAZA, Folagbade Street, Ijebu-Ode

    1. The Ogun State Planning and Development Permit Authority observed during routine monitoring that the construction on site does not confirm with the Approval granted as there is a deviation from the airspaces and setback.

2.,In addition, the building had been modified and enlarged with additional storey building at the back there by becoming over density..

In view of the above, the following actions were taken;-

    • Contravention Notice with serial No. 0106983 was served on 24th May, 2022.

    • Stop work Order with serial No. 000623 was served on 24th May, 2022.

    • Stop work Order with serial No. 001065 was served on 22nd July, 2022.

    • Demolition Notice with serial No. 0007549 was served on 11th October, 2022.

    • Notice to seal with serial 000815was served on 4th October, 2022.

    3. Despite the actions taken, the developer was recalcitrant and continued the construction work on site.

    4. This prompted the sealing of the Site on the 1st of August, 2023. But the sealing of the Site does not stop the developer from further construction as work continued on the site.

    1. Well, if they built outside of what was approved then the building becomes a danger. Why do these ppl constantly do this and put ppl’s lives at risk? You going to build additional storey for what? Are they not tired of hearing about buildings tumbling down and killing ppl. Mtsscchhwww
