Things are getting interesting already
ReplyDeleteI am following the trend on Twitter
The cries, laughters et al
This is where you will see this "nwanza" jumping up and down.
DeleteAll eyes on the Judiciary.
ReplyDeleteOur eyes are certainly on them, and our eyes and ears are watching and enjoying the very logical way the tribunal is throwing away all the frivolous claims that weren't backed with credible evidence.
DeleteI confess that I am not a lawyer, but I have read enough to know that law is not about online emotions or bullying but based on facts presented and well argued in court..
Peter Obi and his cohorts thought their case would be decided at the court of public opinion where facts and evidence don’t matter and where sentiment is their go to.
DeleteYes oooo. Anon 14:44 and 15:32, the court law is home of evidences and fact. Not sentiments. Anyone making a claim should be able to provide evidences to back it up. Its just the noble thing to do.
DeleteHow can you claim your neighbour stole your clothes, yet you didn't provide the number, colour, where and when it happened and still expect the court to rule in your favour?
14:44,, π―. The unanimous decision was well explained, fact after fact. Justice Ugo further broke it down as if the appellants were in remedial class: if the results were manipulated by, INEC as claimed,, it is not just in-efficient but imbecilic as an election righer.
DeleteIf it was to be street justice, the lawyers for Obi and Atiku are supposed to receive about 30 strokes of the cane, each. Just imagine wasting the courts time without any tangible evidence even at the polling unit level where they claimed to have agents. So this is the nonsense no head no tail white noise they wanted to televise like BBN?
They are free to embark on another isrealite journey but since higher courts will be dealing with the same claims and evidence, just questioning the judicial process, so pee o tilo.
Request to disqualify BAT on alleged US drug case thrown out.
ReplyDeleteRequest to disqualify him based on 25% in Abuja thrown out, the court has said that Abuja residents are not superior to people living in other parts of Nigeria.
No indictment, no arraignment, no charges, no conviction, no fine or prison sentence but Obi wants to win from behind. I hope that one day, a learned person practicing in the USA can educate desperate cult members on the scourge of civil forfeiture in that country and how many businesses and their owners have had to give up on tens of millions in cash to avoid the time wastage and financial costs of pointless investigations when you have to carry cash. There are NGOs dedicated to helping people get their money back but it takes years and money these people may not want to waste. Till now, lazy investigators have not brought up any fact about this forfeiture and have refused to point out that the local police immediately tag any money under civil forfeiture as drug money without evidence so that their precinct can keep the money.

ReplyDeleteIt's now time for Atiku's petitions to be read
