The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) has directed all its affiliates and members to shut down the economy next week Tuesday, October 3, 2023, over the federal government’s failure to meet all its demands. The Presidents of both the NLC and the TUC, Joe Ajaero and Festus Osifo, disclosed this at the Labour House during a press conference held shortly after an emergency National Executive Council meeting.

. The governorship candidate of the Labour Party in Lagos State, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, has rejected the ruling of the election petition tribunal affirming the victory of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu. ReplyDeleteThat story about that 11 yr old is completely heartbreaking. I wished stories like these would mobilize a nation and let it known child abuse will not be tolerated. Nobody protests unless death is involved.
