One of the WORST things that can happen to a newly married couple, is when the photographer or video guy misplaces their photos/video. π₯Ίπ
ReplyDeleteSo, 2 days after our wedding in 2018, our photographer brought our pictures to the house, to show us on his laptop. 913 awesome pictures! He captured every detail - our outfits and jewelry, bridal make up, church service and reception - Pictures make brain die! He wanted us to select the ones he'd work on. But seeing as we were still on honeymoon, plus, I resumed my current job that same Monday (2 days after wedding), we told him to hold the pictures fes. That in 2 weeks time, when we don rest small, we'd have him over, select the ones we need, and then he'd edit and make the photo book. That was our worst mistake!
Called this dude 2 weeks later, and he starts telling me "boss, I nor know how to tell you, thief enter my house move my laptop. And I nor get back up. Everything don go". A whole big name for photography, you nor get sense to back up stuff? I almost craze that day!
My wife wept uncontrollably. Imagine having NO pictures of your wedding? Very painful o!
Anyways, we have 'somehow' overcome it now. But once in a while, we remember, and it hurts, cos those pictures were really dope! We are left with only the video. Scant consolation, but at least, small evidence dey!
The guy still dey apologize, and we don forgive am. But I nor fit use am for anything again or recommend him to anyone else. Some of my friends complained bitterly about how he also messed up their wedding memories as well.
Anyways, our own still good sef. I am aware some couples don't even have either pictures or videos. Omoh! π₯Ί

DeleteMy friend had this experience,very big wedding ooo,even the set up of the videographer,you will think it's for a movie last last both video and pictures,none was available at the end of the day.They had to do small photoshoot when they had their first child...very annoying something.

I had an attack last night. I was feeling restless last night, I couldn't sleep, I that is an 'early sleeper'. Even after saying my prayers, I was tossing around till almost 10pm. Then I managed to fall asleep and felt a violent feeling of been scared, you know that feeling of someone suddenly scaring us from a hidden position. We call it 'Ulilenwhin' in my Esan dialect. That's how witches test their victims to see if the person will be scared and subdued enough to become their regular victim. This is the second time in four years that I am being tested. The first time I opened fire on them, they ran and never came back. It was the same person that did it the first time. This time around I was angry with a holy rage, I released atomic bombs instantly in the form of speaking in tongues and dangerous prayers. After, the prayer session, I fell into a sweet, restful sleep.
DeleteLessons learnt:
1.) Always be on the offensive when it comes to prayer, don't wait until you are attacked, attack first. Let them know you as a 'Touch Not'.
2.) Each time you experience any abnormality in your sleeping pattern, pray very well, the Holy Spirit is trying to tell you something.
3.) For them to even dare to attack me, means my prayer life is not where it should be. It was with this disappointment in myself that released all the rage against them. They ain't coming any time soon.
4.) As for the wizard that calls himself our neighbour, a man of almost ninety years, wicked and soulless, the battle line is drawn , he will know no peace. I will continue to release atomic bombs against him, day, noon and night. No peace for the wicked.
The first time, he came to attack me, I was a novice, I didn't realize what was happening. I had refused to collect his phone to charge for him after collecting and bringing it back for more than four times, and my tooth ache was dealing with me. When the little girl he sent to bring the phone came again the fourth time, I didn't even answer her(he started molesting and sexually assaulting the girl, when she cried out, he framed her for trying to kill herself and sent her away). I was warned by the Holy Spirit that I will be attacked. I didn't know how the attack would come. He came that night, and jolted me out of my sleep, my heart missed a beat and I was scared, I didn't know what caused it. Then I managed to fall asleep again, then he did it again, then a third time, before I realized that I was being attacked. I raised fire and thunder against him before I was able to sleep peacefully.
Be prayerful my people, wickedness is everywhere.

ReplyDeleteA friend of mine, Henry, told me that he went to enroll his child in a certain school in Port Harcourt City.
Immediately he stepped into the reception room of the school, what he saw hanging on the wall was A DUTY ROASTER.
After a while, a member of staff took him to see the Administrator.
Henry saw boldly inscribed on the door next to the Administrator's office, OUT OF BOUND TO STUDENTS.
He said that while he interacted with the Administrator, he noticed that the woman's expressions contained a lot of concord errors, e.g., "Our school don't tolerate lateness"; "Morning assembly usually begin by 8.00am in the morning", etc.
Long story short: Henry finished discussing with the Administrator and took his two children home without enrolling them in the school because of the many grammatical blunders he had heard within a short time.
Let's do an error correction exercise, ie, let's correct the blunders now.
1 DUTY ROASTER ❎

DUTY ROASTER or DUTY ROSTER?
Any difference between roaster and roster?
You bet!
According to Cambridge dictionary, "You bet" is an informal idiom used to emphasize a statement or to mean "certainly".
For example π
Obi: "Are you coming to the party?"
Ada: "You bet!"
In addition, "You bet" is also used when someone thanks you. It's synonymous with "You're welcome!"

Akpan: "Thanks for your help."
Boma: "You bet. Anytime."
But I digress. To get back to what I was saying, roaster is different from roster.
ROASTER
Roaster means a container or device for roasting food. That is, a container, an oven or a piece of equipment used for roasting something.

Roaster also refers to a person or company that processes coffee beans or that roasts a particular food.
Take particular note of the transcription or pronunciation of the word, roaster /ΛrΙΚstΙ/.

Now let's talk about roster.
ROSTER
