DeleteNaa juju naa. SACRIFICE as in eboรณ
ReplyDeletehaaa!!!
ReplyDeleteSame thing here in Asaba. JuJu pots every nook and cranny, if you aren't careful you'd step on one but thank God for his mercies. Whenever I step out, no pressing of phone till I enter my keke or cab, eyes has to be sharp so I don't step on any silly thing.
ReplyDelete๐ it is well
DeletePlease where exactly in Asaba do you see Juju pots? Because I have never really seen such my whole life staying in Asaba.
DeleteWhen i visited my uncle in Benin, that was the type of pot they used to serve him food. My mind went straight to Lagos sacrifices. I almost threw up.
ReplyDeleteSome of these sacrifices are not to hurt anyone in particular, but to appease some gods.
That kind of pot keeps food hot/warm for longer so some elderly people still use it.
DeleteNot only on 3rd mainland o, most places in Lagos...sometimes dogs & mad people eat them....other times rain wash them away. In civilised city like this o
ReplyDeletehmn! No enchantment against our breakthrough, no divination against our joy shall stand! Back to sender!!!

ReplyDeleteIt's the believe over these things that amazes me.
ReplyDeleteIt's people practicing their religion. They only need to be educated on placing their propitiation in areas that don't constitute litter and perhaps if other religions are held to the same standards, also penalised for littering after a proper enlightenment campaign has been carried out.
ReplyDeleteAfter palm Sunday, these palm fronds and flyers are seen everywhere. JWs are virtually a public nuisance. Noise pollution is worse with churches and mosques than markets compared to markets since they are in residential areas. There are areas where the entire road is blocked by people praying on the road during jumat prayers. Public and personal walls are mutilated by flyers of people looking to sell their religious business.
It's funny how those who claim to have superior powers over what they call evil are the ones to cower in trepidation when they see gourds with food inside.
Did you just say JWs are virtually public nuisance?
DeleteGod have mercy on you Anon
God knows.
