Growing up in life, one thing I never did when living with my parents was to bring a woman home even when I was seeing women at the time. I grew up in a Christian home and was an alter boy at the age of 9. No matter how far I go in life, I always remember home and how godly I was raised in life. I would have been a priest but for the pleasure of this world *sigh*
ReplyDeleteToday, people do all manner of immoral things under their parents nose. Very bad and unfortunate.
Let me share these story with you guys.
A young boy staying with his grandmother very close to my yard usually comes home with different women and they will have sex on his grandmother's bed.
One day, during the act they were caught red handed by the grandmother who came in and met them pounding themselves naked. She was heartbroken and wept.
This boy was 18yrs at the time and was adopted.
When they both ran away from the house, the woman cried and made some negative utterances. She brought out the bedspread they used and burnt it.
Two days later, the boy died in an accident.
No one can really say if it was a coincidence or what he did to the grandmother that led to his death. Some of us still believe the burning of that bedspread had a spiritual undertone.
The same thing is currently happening again next to my residence from two brothers from this state. This one their parents are aware and see nothing wrong with it. These guys lives in one room with two other siblings and their parents.
At interval, they will bring their babes home and be knacking them. In some occasions, if the parents are around, they will sit outside while they are doing their things inside. Neighbors have used it to insult the parents during quarrels but they don't give a f**k
Once any of the babes arrive, the sister, mother or father at home at the moment will just come out and stroll out. They already knew knacking will happen. I know you wouldn't believe this but it's true. The elder one relates to me and sometimes I yabbed him by saying, ''na for your papa bed you dey knack your woman.''
Once I say that, he will respond by asking ''before na your bed I for come knack am.''
When one no longer has shame in life anymore.
Today, both ladies are pregnant and do visits. Sometimes they stay weekends or even weeks in that one room.
The father has left the house for them all and currently staying with his side chick at an apartment he rented for her. We had the wife traced him there and put up a fight with the lady. The husband left both of them to kill themselves. It was the neighbors that separated the fight.
Such a sad tales and what a family!!!!
I will never judge anyone lifestyle but I will never wish such a family on my enemies.
May our children don't bring us shame in life.

DeleteThe fault is 80% from their parents, why would a parent allow such to happen under his/her nose, if you think as my child you're old enough to have a girlfriend or boyfriend to the extend of engaging in s3x, then be ready to rent your own apartment. The attitude of the parents show they didn't instill any morals in their children. Such a shameless family.

DeleteMy 2 managers have always seemed supportive of the staff progress and have always encouraged us to take professional courses, trainings etc. If only I knew it was all fake.
ReplyDeleteSo finally I decided to apply for a professional registration which will allow me to rise up in my job area, but it requires manager's approval and signature. I gave them to sign and they held on to it claiming busy, they haven't read it, etc. Something that should only take 2 minutes to sign.
On the 3rd day they say they wanted to have a "chat" with me about the registration. I went into the office, only for them to start asking what my plans were, why I'm registering, when I plan on leaving them. I said I have no immediate plans to leave, just wanted to be professionally registered. they said okay but didn't seem convinced. It's a week now and they still haven't signed my document.
I feel disappointed but somehow not surprised. If there's no response by Monday, I'll go to my former manager who I'm still on good terms with and ask if she'll sign for me.
I've also started applying for jobs and I believe God will help me with a better job and help me to break free from enemies of progress.

DeleteCould you have a discussion with HR about your bosses refusal to sign the document for registration or ask your former boss to help intervene. I believe he or she is afraid that when you are certified you might be promoted or ahead of him.
Going to your former boss might cause more problems for you. If after the meeting, your boss refuses to sign, then you go ahead with your exit plans.
It's obvious they're not partners in progress.
