ReplyDeleteMy daughter has been complaining of lower back ache for weeks now, initially thought she was joking but looks like she's not (she's 3).
I just called the office of our family physician to book an appointment, and the earliest appointment date we got is on the 21st of September, omooo!! They don't take walk in clients there, so the only other option I have is to go to the emergency dept if I can't wait till that day.
I trust my Lagos, I don carry her like this enter paediatrician office tomorrow if to say I dey around. Anyways, i will keep observing for the next few days.
I hope everyone had a good week? It's been back to back work for moment since I resumed last week, let me go binge read previous posts I missed.
I pray for healing on your daughter, no any home made remedy so that you can use it to reduce her pain.

DeleteAnon 22.25, none of such I know here in my part of Canada, dem too like due process so even paediatricians will ask you to book an appointment with their secretary, if its quite urgent, then they tell you to go into emergency dept.
Buy over the counter pain medication ,paracetamol for her
DeletePlease use hot bottle on her back but let the water be abit mild for her skin after which you can apply children’s menthol on it and give her painkillers for rest. Continue for like 2-3 days before going to the emergency unit. Also, you can place her flat on her back for a long time, it helps.
DeleteFor likely causes of that;
1) check that her bed frame is flat and the mattress is firm enough.
2) check her backpack isn’t loaded
3) observe her sleeping position
4) reduce her intake of sugar for now.

There are walk-in clinics you can take your child to without an appointment. Google will bring up all the walk-in clinics in your city. If you prefer to stick to the doctor you want to see, then wait for the appointment date. Mbok.

So hubby has been home for a while due to illhealth and I have been working my a** off to nurse him back to health right as a virtuous woman that "ayam". DeleteYes, and yes. You can wipe each seed instead of washing. Just don't leave it in the hot oil for long. If you over fry it till it turns dark brown/burns, it will not draw.
