Dear pastor Tunde,
@thetbakareiknow
When your colleagues are caught with their pants down in unholy s#xual activities.
We never hear your voice, you never speak nor preach about them..
It comes to the death of a boy who is old enough to be your last born and you say “HE REAPED THE REWARD OF HIS ACTIONS.
What Actions?
Please please please KEEP THE SAME ENERGY with your corrupted Colleagues as you just did today.
It’s the anointing of God upon your head that’s making me not go off on this LOSSE COMMENT OF YOURS.
I have learnt over the years that if you have nothing nice to say, Keep mute(DONT TALK AT ALL)
Preach your gospel and leave mohbads name out of your ministration..
I don’t respect old age , I respect the wisdom your exhibit at old age..

THIS IS WHAT PASTOR TUNDE BAKARE SAID

He said: “My wife and I listened to a tape last night on MohBad. How many of you know Mohbad? The Nigerian artiste who died at 27? MohBad. When he was drinking and smoking and associating with evil men, he did not know that the harvest would come so soon and that he would soon be cut down at the prime of youth. I am not blaming him, I am just telling you. Is Mohbad a good name? Moh Bad.”

  5. nothing wrong with what pastor bakare said..of course this is only part of all the things he must have said...society has become so decadent that young people do not want to be scolded anymore...if you do not point out the wrong things that got people in trouble how will other learn? ..the youths must learn from what happened to mohbad....the name in itself is another story....stop relying on friends for happiness. bad company corrupts good manners. if you are talented keep doing your thing till God lifts you himself. i pray his life teaches a lot of our youths some lessons and i pray he gets justcice

    3. @anonymous 11:33 there are other ways of passing information to the youths without judging the poor boy. He should first tackle our leaders who pushed the poor into the street like the story of the 20years old virgin in yesterday's chronicle that has been turned to a sex slave. If the society is what it should be or is doing what is expected of them, this young boy wouldn't be dead. He ran to the police yet nothing was done till he was killed. Do you think with his preaching the youths will not do it again?? when poverty couple with embarrassment hit them, they will still do it again. Many Yahoo guys have ran mad yet our young boys are still doing Yahoo and oke ite. The problem start from the top. What will really bring the change is a change in our leaders. If the leaders are doing what is expected of them, the poor won't be looking for the way to come out of poverty.

  6. One thing I love about our Catholic church is, we preach message of love, forgiveness and mercy.
Pastor you've already condemned Mohbad, meaning you've passed your judgement already. It is well!

    1. Hhmmm, what a strong statement. A heart filled with hate for a human being like you 😔.
The pastor highlighted on the relationship between the lifestyle of the artist and the end result. Drinking alcohol consistently, smoking hard drugs and association with questionable characters (either in the guise of business or pleasure) will lead to an untimely death. Some take pleasure in calling themselves names that suggests wickedness;e.g "da killer", smurder". The pastor was advising his congregation/Christians in his space -is Tonto now a member of citadel?. When your kids grow up kindly encourage them to follow the example of the deceased artist as their role model.
As for the aunty with 'hate' in her heart, I hope your seed of hate produce and bear fruit of love for you, and your loved ones.

  9. He has said it in interviews that the name means Moh(I) am blessed and destined. And not to sound rude he added Imole.

Just wish you are in the hospital recuperating moh.

  12. Jesus came for the Sinners.
He dined and wined with them.

His Choice of disciples can attest to that.

What Pastor Bakare said is so INSENSITIVE.

I love Tonto’s Stance on this: He should maintain the same energy when it comes to his philandering Colleagues

  13. It is always tricky to get on a pulpit and speak about someone you knew nothing about and then judge what they did or not deserve. The pastor lacks emotional and social intelligence as well as sensitivity.

Even on the cross Christ showed compassion to those who had lived their lives in a rotten way. Death should bring reflection in life and all judgments left to The Creator.

  15. The name "Mohbad" came into existence during one performance he did in the studio, due to the effort and strength he put in the song, there was no better way or right words to express his hard work , so he said"Omo I bad".
That was where he got his stage name from "Mohbad".
Inorder not to sound rude he added"Imole" to it.
