Integrity means having a good character. And good character sets boundaries. It may not always determine what you will do, but it always determines what you won't do. Character lets you realise how much you're willing to pay to get what you want. When someone in a relationship has no character, they're dangerous. The writer of Proverbs says, 'The righteous man walks in his integrity; his children are blessed after him' (Proverbs 20:7 NKJV). Character doesn't have to be in the spotlight, excessively running the show. And it doesn't resort to intimidation or shaming to get its own way. The person who thinks he or she can get what they want by lying, cheating or manipulating is sadly mistaken.
No matter where you go, the real you will eventually show up! And if you don't work on your character, you can't build healthy relationships. Genuine relationships require integrity; someone who shows consistent character in all circumstances; someone who plays by the rules and can be relied upon; someone who offers credit where credit is due; someone who lives by faith; someone who trusts God to enable them to accomplish all that he or she was created and called to do.
The Bible tells us the wicked may prosper for a season, but they won't endure. Ultimately, they will not triumph (see Proverbs 11:21). The psalmist says, 'The integrity of the upright will guide them, but the perversity of the unfaithful will destroy them' (Proverbs 11:3 NKJV). The word for today is - work on your character.

"Is it correct to say Happy birthday in arrears"?
This is my response:👇
Happy birthday in arrears is popular.
A thousand and one people use it every day as a birthday wish.
It's a grammar lie, nonetheless.
Do this. Google "Happy birthday in arrears!"
You won't find that structure in any credible and reputable dictionary.
'In arrears' has nothing to do with a birthday wish or greeting.
'In arrears' simply means being late in making a regular payment.
It refers to money that you owe someone because you have not made regular payments at the correct time.
For example:
Mr Okon's house rent is three months in arrears.
Ordinarily, the grammatical structure used to wish someone well on their birthday is the phrase "Happy birthday!"
If that greeting is coming a day or two after the birthday, "BELATED Happy Birthday!" is the correct grammatical structure.
I'll tell you why.
Belated is an adjective. The synonym (or a similar word) for 'belated' is 'late' or 'delayed'.
You can use 'belated' to qualify or describe "Happy birthday!"
Now, do this simple exercise:
Let's use "Happy belated birthday!"
Now, replace the word 'belated' with 'late/delayed' in the phrase above.
What did you get?
Happy late birthday!
Happy delayed birthday!
These sentences imply (or mean) that it's the birthday that's coming late, and that's not true.
The point is, it's actually the birthday greeting that is coming late, not the birthday.
Your birthday is the anniversary of your birth; so it CANNOT come late (or early).
Greetings from your friends and well-wishers can come late (if they forgot your birthday). The birthday itself can't be late.
For instance, my own birthday is 29-04 every year. April the 29th cannot come earlier or later, if you catch my drift.
So, it makes grammatical sense to say "late/delayed happy birthday", that is:
BELATED Happy Birthday!

So unfortunate the hardship keep biting hard on the citizens while politicians are busy receiving 'token' for their holiday. Businesses are parking up as dollar keeps increasing and may hit $1=1,000. Fuel is now over 700. I walked into a street and discovered almost all the generators had a gas cylinder at the corner. You know what that means right? People are now converting fuel to gas supply on their generators. I don't wanna talk how useless the naira is becoming.
When you get into a thing you have no knowledge about, you end up creating more damages to it. Albert Einstein was very right and had Nigeria in mind when he said, ''We can't solve our problems with the same level of thinking that created them''.
The same people who deceived you after promising you change but ended up collapsing the economy are the same people you're expecting a miraculous fix to the mess and criminality they created. You need a brain reset if you're one of them having that hope.
I saw sycophants and praise singers saying, ''it's too early to judge. It's just three months. Let's give them some time.''
One thing those asking for more time or saying it's too early forgot to understand is that, this was how Buhari was given time from one month to two year, then 4 years, and finally eight years and was still a colossal and a monumental failure.
Do you know the most gullible of them all? The ones who still think and believe Buhari didn't fail in governance.

I would like to believe that the Senator who said so was misquoted.
We do not want our public comments to precipitate a French-style revolution in Nigeria. Especially given the very recent histories in our subregion. Our Senators are meant to be representing Nigerians. And Nigerians ate going through some of the harshest economic times of their existence since 1960 because of a Buhari administration that left nothing but debt for its successors.
Therefore, It is unfair to say ₦2 million is too small in a country where the minimum wage is just ₦30,000. We should not have Senators earning maximum wages when Nigerians are earning slave wages.
In February of 2023, I organised a tour of the British equivalent of the Senate, which is the House of Lords. I remember clearly that my friend, Lord Hannan told Senator Philip Aduda that members of the House of Lords are not paid a salary because they are considered distinguished members of society with independent means.
We must have self sacrifice from our elected officials. Nigeria is not an oil rich country.
Nigeria produces less than 2 million barrels of oil daily for a population of 200 million people.
Ghana produces 200,000 barrels of oil daily for a population of 35 million people.
Angola produces 1.1 million barrels of oil daily for a population of 34.5 million people.
