DeleteAnon 17:52 the US is better than that. They will get cake and sign a huge card and decorate with balloons to send you off even if it’s’ojuaye’! I still have cards with emotional write-ups from those I worked with in my previous job! It may not be everywhere or for everyone but Americans are big on that. Companies even give awards for 5,10, 15 etc years of service with a party.
