I heard too that she ditched her friends just becos of this man. if you have to ditch your friends and support group because of a man not cos you need to do a personal audit, then know it's a major red flag.

I had tears in my eyes seeing the pictures and reading the post. What manner of sadness and pain would make someone to try this? she must be very sad, pained and depressed to forget about her friends and relatives and probably a child/rent and to decide ending her life like this.

I can tell from experience. There were times I didn't want to wake up, I couldn't even eat and I became so skinny. When I look at myself now, I just laugh. I was 19 and naive at the time. Right now, I'm so happy and thankful to God for who I am. My children are both American and Canadian citizens. If I had seen the future, I wouldn't have had one sleepless night. I would have just been eating my bole and groundnut and patiently wait for my future. Please don't kill yourself over anyone. No one is worth dying for. Love yourself and eat your favorite food.

She needs to be under the care of a psychiatrist for a bit. I think she had a mental crack from the shock of the events. Perhaps she felt that she is finally settled in life, off the market, secured and suddenly this bomb dropped. Not everyone can handle a shocking event. In her case, there was no lead up, the marriage is brand new, still in honeymoon phase and one day you come home and the spouse has moved out, all their clothes and personal effects are gone, he left to return to who he had before you. That utter feeling of rejection is probably what caused the mental collapse and momentary loss of sensibilities. It is the rejection and heartless actions that triggered her. None of us want to be rejected, especially so publicly and in such a cruel manner by the very person who is supposed to protect us and look out for our wellbeing.

A good support system and knowing that you are loved can help to rebalance the mind quicker. May the living loving penetrating light of God surround and protect her, reaching into the hidden dark places bringing hope and healing.
