My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth. Psalm 121: 1-2.
Today as we look up to the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth will surely help us in Jesus name πŸ™.
Our Almighty God will show us his steadfast love and our testimonies of his faithfulness will be great and mighty in Jesus name πŸ™
From today onward our GLORY will manifest and our hanging blessings shall be released unto us without further delay in Jesus name πŸ™

  3. Born To Excellence!!
    2 Peter 1:3.

    Excerpts!!

"It’s important to know that your life of excellence isn’t a future plan or a promise to be fulfilled when we get to heaven; no! It's a present reality, for here and now!"

"You’re God's own purchased, special individual, bought by the blood of Jesus to set forth the wonderful deeds and showcase the virtues and perfections of the One who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light. Blessed be God. Never think less of yourself. Never underestimate your worth."

"Every day you’re in this world, wherever you go, understand and be conscious that you’re born for excellence. It’s your destiny to be excellent. You have an excellent path of life. Therefore, do and manifest excellent things."

    Confession!!

Dear Father, I thank you for your life and nature in my spirit, and the life of excellence that I have in Christ Jesus. You've made my life beautiful, and you've enabled me to be an effective witness and representative of your Kingdom, showing forth your praises, and illuminating the dark places in the earth with the light of the glorious Gospel, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

  15. Good morning everyone
How are we doing this beautiful Saturday morning?
I attended an engagement ceremony yesterday. The bride's parents are separated but came together for the ceremony and sat side by side. The bride's mum was looking so radiant with expensive lace material, gold jewelry, nice purse and shoes. As for the baba, I think they grudgingly bought one small guinea material from Aboki and sew for him, the same colour with the woman's own. The way the man was doing, you would know he was not happy, he only managed one small smile when the Mc asked him to come and dance with his daughter. The gap between baba and mama on the chair could take two more people. Very odd couple.
The yeye Mc was not informed, she told the woman to kneel before the baba and thank him for joining her to make such a beautiful daughter, mama refused, she sat down and said it with no expression on her face. That was how people beside me started narrating their marriage story.
They said baba was sleeping around and maltreated the woman when they were together, he did not take care of the kids. She left with her kids when she got tired.
I wonder why divorced couples have to sit side by side for wedding ceremony of their child, especially those who separated bitterly. Nigerians get too much wahala.
See long story, when last did I type like this here sef. Amebo is sweet.

At least they should have made a united front for sake of their daughter. Save the drama after their daughter's wedding.

I know how painful it can be sitting beside someone who caused you pain. it's your daughter's big day. MC does not need to know, dem for just act in front of their guests.

    6. Don't mind Nigerians. See Chris Oyakhilome(Christ Embassy)'s ex wife that time when their daughter wedded, she didn't come and join her ex husband here to celebrate. She organised her own wedding celebration for her child over there in abroad. No need to force me to sit with an evil man to form unity in front of guests, dey your dey make I dey my dey. If I was the one, I will tell the MC to mind what she would tell us to do together. Skip some of the nonsense abeg and go straight to the main point.

  18. Reno Omokri speaks on how he wanted to recreate OBJ's outfit and pose like him and it didn't come out out plus praises Yoruba people

I was inspired to spend a prince's ransom to recreate the outfit and pose that General Olusegun Obasanjo unveiled on Tuesday, October 11, 1977. My couturier got everything right, except the abetΓ ajΓ‘.

By now, I reckon it is no secret that I am enamoured of Yoruba culture. Yorubas are some of the coolest people on Earth. Colonialism had almost no effect on their culture.

They are one of the few people that can go anywhere and make their hosts wish they were Yoruba. You cannot intimidate them. Yet they are not aggressive. The way they show respect. Their music. Their party loving nature. Their playfulness. The way they carry themselves in their native fashion. And yes, the Yoruba demon charm. So warm a people!

And their natural diplomacy is top-notch. Their ability to harmoniously disagree with you is almost talismanic! When other people call you werey, you will want to donate two slaps to them. But the way a Yoruba person says it makes you feel complimented! Broda, e sure she ori yin kpe?

One thing I will say is that they have a precise balance of strength and warmth. Not projecting too much strength to make you loathe them. And not exuding too much warmth to elicit disrespect. I don’t know how they do it. It might be innate. But we can all learn from them.

  20. Reno Omokri on Africans especially Nigerians and their copycat mentality

European men kneel to propose to their women. You, too, kneel to propose to your girlfriend. They do white weddings. You, too, wear a suit and tie under the hot African sun with your Black African bride in a white dress. They carry a flower bouquet, you, too, carry, not knowing the cultural significance. They give their children European names. You, too, give your beautiful Black African children European names because you want them to be posh. And when Europeans look down on you, you shout racism. What do you expect when even you are racist to yourself? Even you, would you like and respect your friend if he abandons his own parents only to respect yours? Then why are you surprised Europeans look down on you when you abandon your own culture to worship theirs? Santa Claus and Father Christmas are good, but your African masquerade is evil. African herbal remedies are jazz, but European chemical pharmaceuticals are good. Isese festival is evil, but Christmas is good. Don't you see how ridiculous you are? God made you an original African, but you want to turn yourself into a cheap version of a European. Our women must wear European or Asian hair before you can find them attractive. You have willingly chosen to be what another culture wants you to be, instead of who God created you to be. Alas, when you insult yourself, you will never be in short supply of people willing to join you. Oni iranu. Mtcheww!

  21. There are different types of people.
The people who plot evil, the people who carry out evil, the ones who sit down and do nothing when evil is carried out. Category 2 is the ones who uses more evil to curb evil and that is where some of you belong.

This is what happened in Bigbrother last night. Pere and the guys conspired, Ike carried out the act, Venita was a bystander and at the wrong place and at the wrong time. She laughed initially cos she was tipsy but asked Ike " what is making you angry again? Then she stood up and left.

Nigerians left Ike, left the guys and faced Venita. Ike got a free pass cos he is a guy and desperate women will take any guy including low quality ones like Ike. They condemned Venita. Women who felt they were secure in their marriage mocked her status. They called her all sort of names. You would think she perpetrated the act. It was yet an opportunity for women to show the upper hand to Venita and rub their noses on her. Imagining condeming her for something and displaying the same wickedness you accused her of.

Some of you women are vile, hateful and particularly wicked to single mothers. You cry "leave to live" and they do, you will wait on your high throne for the woman to do a singular act of imperfection and then you rub her status on her faces. You are vile. You women are the ones making fun of her age and her status , why?. You can't support illebaye with your full chest and release hateful words to Venita.

Extending grace is not just for young people . Grace is given to everyone. I condemn that shameful act done to illebaye and this is a teachable and a reflective moment for everyone involved. This is suppose to spark up a healthy conversation on how women should be there for each other, it should let us know that it is important to take action and not be a bystander. Not doing something can be interpreted as consenting to it but I will never support you vileful women shaming and hating Venita. You are not that different.

Please be guided. While you are happily married, it is not excuse to make fun of another person. We have seen severally how 20 years marriage break all the time. Do not let experience teach you empathy.

I will end this by saying, I will continue to support Venita. I am hoping she has seen how her inactions and actions can make or mar a situation. This is also for all of us. Stand up and condemn evil but don't become the evil you condemn.

Same way people were being slaughtered by herdsmen and still kept buying beef. They were still using cows as evidence og wealth during burials even at the peak of the attacks. If people in the south had stopped buying cows and beef in general, there will be no value in herding/driving them all the way south.
