  1. I understand you may admire her achievements, but there should be no basis for comparison. We all know Nigeria where we come from, most of these political achievements has to do with who you know and lots of backdoor meandering that most common people would not necessarily has access to. And for your information, most people are in government for what they can take out of it nit what they will give especially in Nigeria. And most people who complain are not because they really loved the people but didn't have opportunity or chance to be in government so they could also take their portion.

    2. Thanks anon, I listened to her during the screening I think when they asked about what her contributions will be if she becomes minister of health and wasn't exactly impressed sha.
Being book smart is different from running policies in the real world setting.
Nevertheless, I am glad young women are getting slots in this government that counts for something.

    3. Anon 15.51 Please dont compare yourself to anyone. Everyone have their own time and is NEVER late to be who
you want to be as long as you have the drive and determination to do it. Btw, 2 of the richest people in the world didnt have college degrees (Bill Gate and Mark Zukerberg) And Okoya didnt have a degree too. Not saying that education isn’t good but being successful in this world is not all about having degree. Osun governor just got his degree recently before contesting for the governor. Put your head up and focus on whatever dream you have in your mind. Good luck to you achieving your dream

You can do it, I'm rooting for you.

  3. She got there because her Dad or one of her relatives was either a Politician or is a great influencer politically or is the Governor’s political benefactor! We know how things roll in πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬ Naija! She might be good but she definitely didn’t get there on merit!

  9. Hmmmmm!!! Anon 15.38, you are on point! If only people know what most people do to get political appointments, both male and female - the reason they don't care what happens thereafter and how the masses survive. They become inhuman and unconcerned. May God deliver Nigeria. Amen.

  13. You want more women in government because only then will any good come out of it. In other words, women equal good governance while men equal bad governance. Lol... This is patently untrue.

Corruption isn't gender-specific. Remember the phrase "What a man can do, a woman can do it better?" Dame Patience embodies this phrase. Patricia Etteh embodies the phrase, Madam Alison Madueke embodies it.

I am not saying Nigerian male politicians are better than female politicians. I'm just saying that it's a fallacy that women are incorruptible, or not as corrupt as men.

During the cash crunch, the POS agents who exploited Nigerians were male and female. During Covid19 the people who sold masks and hand sanitizers at exorbitant prices were male and female.

The former humanitarian affairs minister, a woman, gave out cash and palliatives to imaginary people. The woman is one of the biggest looters of Buhari's administration.

  14. Stella forget about women making Nigeria better if they are in government. How many women in government did well compared to the ones that did badly?
    Diezani maduekwe
    Patience Jonathan
    Patricia Ette
    Etc

They are all the same, men and women

    1. Men, women, young and old . What matters is what you can offer. Some women are hetter than some men and vice versa. I personally congratulate Dr B Edu and wish her well in her new office. She should be"mother" personified

  16. I remember her testimony on streams of joy just a few months ago. About the president's wife appointing her as the over seer of her per project. Little did she know what more God had in store for her

  17. I am so glad reading comments that people are more open to the fact that there is no need for comparison.

However this is the ministry that produces funny palliative numbers no one ever sees... Let's hope their would be a change
