    1. Hi Flawless, you missed the part where SDK reminds us that it starts with you and I.

Everyone pointing fingers at public figures when a lot of us are horrible people!

      It doesn't start with her.
Stop that nonsense deceptive, dumb and trying to escape accountability talk of change starting with us. Change begins from the top, if the people at the top get it right that it must show below.
If the minister gives a directive on cleanliness and neatness and then discipline people who err, things would change..

The problems starts with them not doing their job which include giving directives and executing it..

Look at the other day Wike said no more cow grazing in the central area of Abuja and cows are still grazing, is he not supposed to do his job in following up his directive?

If you tell me change begin with the masses again, I fit nod you

    4. I like as that anonymous say people like him/her are horrible people. Me I am not. I FULLY support Dante. All y’all, if your parents give orders at home and you flout it, what happens? They pay your back or discipline you? And Stella, you see that airport thingy, atleast you come once in a while. People like us who came home ATLEAST once in two years, we have seen worst. I am so not comfortable going in the rest room, and seeing someone waiting on me to finish, and then turn on the water for me to wash my hands, and then cut some typa cheap tissue ( not even paper towel) to clean my hand, while also soliciting. Jesus. I had to yell at the dude in the bathroom past two weeks ago. Damn bruh gimme some space. Cant breathe while you all up on me. Honestly, I love Nigeria, but things gotta be working so we can boast of where we are from.

  4. Dear armchair critics, You have not performed a single wonder in Nigeria so far in your area of influence. If there's an airport in Awka, I am sure it is not close to being a wonder. Be solution focused.

Stella, the reason it may seem like the FG does not work on airports to the point Osinbajo started inspecting them makes me laugh. Compare the total budget of airport maintenance for muritala to, say, the main airport in your city. Compare the average salary of users to that of Nigerians . That speaks to exposure and maintenance culture. I don't expect someone sharing a squat toilet with 30 others, washing it with omo, but working at an airport, to know what to do with a WC and bigger. There are areas abroad where I expect the toilets to be clogged and overflowing and I'm hardly wrong. I don't expect first class service with from spirit, wizz or Ryan airlines.

The late Atta Mills also inspected toilet airports and went to personally protests corruption at as president and it changed nothing long term. These are economic issues. If the government of a poor nation like Nigeria were to divert money used to subsidize fuel for our cheaper flights and their maintenance into the hands of private cleaners, air-conditioned lounges, etc in a country without a good rail network, we are not prioritizing.

I personally don't think air Nigeria is a good idea: how many times do we have to run a subsidized airways to the ground at the cost of a good rail service of the poor 80 percent of the population who will never step into a plane. National pride is a silly excuse for a poor country and even Virgin Nigeria didn't last despite the PPP model. Most Nigerians flying cannot afford it.

Algeria, Egypt, sa air are highly subsidized by wealthier economies with far lower population and they are feeling it. Alitalia that used to get all Catholic priests for free will no longer carry even the pope for free and if they are not bankrupt already, it's because they've sold. American airlines is 100 percent private.

BA feels stuck but the government has privatized all it's major airports, one is even the property of a company run by a Nigerian. In the USA, many airports and even airport security are privatized and rank better than those bugged down with government bureaucracy Ave unsackabke union staff. Solution below:

The first step at our level, is to privatize the toilets and build staff toilets in restricted areas. Other staff eg those who help with luggage or man shops can have a mobile toilet with them paying the owner to use it as well. The toilets for first class lounges are different from business and economy all over the world. If it should be a flat fee because of space, at least 700 per person per use since labor is cheaper in Nigeria. Who will handle plumbing and maintenance should be well spelt out in the contract in addition to deliverables for the contractor. Items like tampons, pads, paper bags and bins for feminine waste should have dispensers and contactless payment should be made available at the main door. Doors should be strong enough to bear bags on their hooks. At 700/person/ use, a private small or medium scale company can make the investment to keep the public toilets clean and feedback from customers, filed to company then copied to the federal airport management agency(s).

Maintenance is expensive and you get what you pay for. Even public markets use this pay to use model and they run toilets clean enough for their level.
