The Ekiti State chapter of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to urgently declare a state of emergency in the health sector. Operatives of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested a suspected armed robber, Akeem Owonikoko, 33, along Sagamu – Ijebu Ode – Benin Highway. Police Spokesman, Omolola Odutola, confirmed this to newsmen in Abeokuta on Sunday. Odutola explained that the suspect was arrested after a 24-hour operation led by the Area Commander, Ijebu Ode, ACP Omosanyi Adeniyi.
