Comedian Julius Agwu Denies Granting Interview Slandering Ex Wife Ibiere

Veteran comedian and actor Julius Agwu has denied a recent interview quoting him as slandering ex wife, Ibiere Maclayton


In an Instagram live with media personality Freeze,Julius cleared the air

Daddy Freeze: “They said you said your wife, IB, married you because of money. Please, address that.”

Julius Agwu: “I was interviewed by The Punch. I never said anything like that. I saw that thing recently, Segun Arinze sent it to me.
I can never debase myself like that. My former wife never married me for any money. And Julius Agwu never said that. She is the mother of my children. I can never say something like that about her.”

    Well The Punch Newspapers cannot lie because of bait clicks. Whatever bad you say about that woman can not hold water. Everyone knew how she stood by you through your illnesses. . Infact the marriage was more of in sickness than in health.

    How about setting the parameters of your interviews before you do them. Some of you act as though you must answer any questions asked. Before the interview even starts you let the interviewer know that you do not want any questions about your ex-wife or former marriage, and if asked the interview ends immediately.
