  1. May God forbid it, that my kids grow up, buy me things, or give me outrageous sums of money, and I just collect, without digging deep to verify source!
May greed not envelope me, such that I'll turn a blind eye to lavish lifestyles of my kids, without asking questions....
Parents, we MUST do better! Your teenage daughter is going out, and coming back with all sorts of goodies and gadgets, and you are not bothered. You even encourage her to buy things when she's coming back from her outings. SMH.
Your son is driving very expensive automobiles, living in mansions, without any verifiable source of income. But you don't mind, because he gives you enough money to enjoy. 😑
Teach your kids that honest earning is best, and contentment cancels desperation. What you cannot afford, leave it.
May God help us raise godly kids. This world don cast! πŸ₯ΊπŸ₯²

  2. Assumption is the lowest form of knowledge. If you don't know about a thing, ask. Don't assume!!!

Just like 2015, we saw what's playing out now and we warned but it fell on deaf ears due to sentiment and tribal bigotry. Today, I see people who voted and supported the incompetence we have in power asking,

''When is the court giving their judgment?''

Why so sudden you now want the court's judgment?

In just less than two months, you're exhausted and asking for court judgment to save you before hardship and hunger destroy you.

    Who borrows for consumption?

This is what H.E Peter Obi will never do. I swear. You want to borrow N500billion and share for consumption and after that, what next?

Dey play, I say dey play.

  3. Spiritual Insight And Understanding!!
    Colossians 1:9.

    Excerpts!!

"It takes the Holy Spirit to open your eyes and give you spiritual understanding. He unveils mysteries and secrets of the Kingdom to you. He’s the Spirit of truth, and part of His ministry in your life is the unveiling of truth."

"Without the understanding and insight that the Spirit gives, your interpretation of life would be ordinary, mundane and useless. It will be difficult to grasp spiritual realities."

"When the Holy Spirit comes into your life, He gives you understanding so you’re no longer in the dark about God’s Word, life, or anything. Through that insight and understanding, you know the paths of life that bring success, joy, victory and prosperity; you’re led in wisdom, glory and righteousness."

    Prayer!!

Dear Father, I thank you for the precious gift of the Holy Spirit who grants me spiritual insight, sets me on the right course, and makes me a master in life. Christ is my wisdom, and I live a glorified life in and through the Word, by the power of the Spirit, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

  14. A TIME TO BE CAREFUL

'Be careful not to fall.' 1 Corinthians 10:12 NCV

There are three crucial points in every battle. The easiest point is sometimes the fight itself. The period of indecision right before the conflict - whether to stand and fight or run away - is difficult. But by far the most dangerous period in a battle is the aftermath, after you've reached your goals and are celebrating your victories. With your resources spent and your guard down, you need to watch for things like overconfidence, dulled reactions and faulty judgment.

Remember King David's story? 'In the spring of the year, at the time when kings go out to battle...David remained at Jerusalem. Then it happened...he saw a woman bathing...Then David sent messengers, and took her' (2 Samuel 11:1-2, 4 NKJV). Pay attention to the phrase, 'Then it happened.' David chose to stay home rather than go to battle. Who knows why? But in that period he got soft, careless or arrogant. It was only a brief affair, but it changed everything. His peace vanished, his character was ruined and his family life was destroyed.

Don't fall prey to the perils of past victories! Remember your H.A.L.T. sign. When you're Hungry, Angry, Lonely or Tired, you're in a vulnerable place and need to be extra careful. Resting on your laurels is synonymous with flirting with disaster. Trouble awaits the man or woman who dwells in the comfortable land of accomplished dreams. So, the word for today is - 'If you think you're standing firm, be careful that you don't fall' (1 Corinthians 10:12 NIV)!

  22. Reno Omokri shares his two cents on the increase in fuel pump price

President Tinubu has no control over the price of fuel. Those days are gone FOREVER. Market forces now control the price of petrol. So, the pressure should not be on the President over the cost of fuel. Let the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria deal with that.

What we should pressure the President on is the minimum wage. The current minimum wage of ₦30,000 is grossly inadequate when compared to the current cost of living in Nigeria. President Tinubu calls himself Asiwaju, meaning the progressive that leads the way.

It is not very Asiwaju-like when Governors are unilaterally increasing salaries to help workers cope with the rising cost of living, and Asiwaju Tinubu has not led the way. Nigeria's minimum wage should be increased to at least ₦75,000. And President Tinubu must lead the way in facilitating that. Or he will soon lose the huge support base he started off with on May 29, 2023.

If we have ₦70 billion for Senators and Representatives to buy furniture, if we have ₦65 billion to pay severance to Buhari and Osinbajo and their aides, after their disastrous eight years in office, surely, Nigeria can afford to pay both public and private sector workers a living wage.

Answer me without being insultive like you did yesterday in your outburst
I have come to realize that most Obidients are usually insultive and aggressive
      Why is that?

  31. Anyone who is blaming Tinubu for the increase in fuel price is either a hypocrite or ignorant.

I thought we all agreed subsidy removal was a good thing and we all knew it would affect fuel prices. Tinubu has no control over the price of fuel. Those days are gone FOREVER. Market forces now control the price of petrol. Maybe you should be blaming the oil marketers for increasing the oil price instead of Tinubu.

    Oh, l get.

It's not the subsidy removal you have a problem with. You only have a problem with the Subsidy Remover. If it were your Messiah PitObi that became President and removed it, you would have been ok with it.

98% of those blaming Tinubu for increase in oil price are from a section of the country. Ya'll should continue!

Akure fuel increment oooo. Its worldwide issue though but then let's blame our president because he's not our favourite. When Nigerians decide to be logical with thier reasoning, is when we will get it right in terms of government.

Have a productive day out there y'all.
