Teen Gunned Down Because She Said NO To Her Toaster

A 14-year-old girl, Naeema Marshall, from Beacon Valley in Mitchells Plain, South Africa has been reportedly gunned down by a 15-year-old boy for allegedly rejecting his advances.

The deceased was said to be visiting her aunt in Eerste River, Western Cape, on 17 July, when she was shot dead on the head.
According to reports, the Grade 9 pupil from Beacon Valley High School, was killed in what is believed to be a fit of rage after she rejected advances from the teenage boy.

Western Cape Police spokesperson, Captain Frederick van Wyk confirmed a case of murder is being investigated.
Naeema’s 45-year-old mother, Fadeema Marshall, is however, struggling with the loss of her teenage girl as Naeema was the youngest of five children.

According to a neighbour, the deceased went to the shop for her aunt. The neighbour went to her at the shop and asked Naeema to buy something for her as well. As she walked away she realised Naeema was taking too long and went to check where she was.

She and the boy who shot her were in an argument. He liked her and she didn’t. He then told her: “you will see” and Naeema replied that she was not afraid.
“She walked back to her aunt’s house. He (the shooter) went upstairs and shot her on the left side of her head,” the neighbor, simply identified as Marshall, told the Police.

  5. This is too much o! What is the world turning into? Really parents have a lot of work to do to curb this rising rate of crime and violence as this stems from a faulty home/upbringing.

  15. Boys, men and their emotions. I am sure almost every woman on this blog has been cussed out at least once by a man for not entertaining his overtures. Some have been assaulted, some maimed(acid throwing) and others killed. This needs to stop!
