She even sent people and she is shouting. If she goes by herself, and sees how expensive every other item is, it means she will faint
ReplyDeleteTomatoes is gold gold but I just cannot do without them, I find out that almost all meals I make require tomatoes so I decided to mix some carrot to make carrot stew, the next time I went back to the market, carrot has tripled in price🤣🤣
DeleteI am back to my tomatoes
Push up (original)
That's Nigeria for you @ push up.
DeleteThis is a yearly thing.
DeleteIt's not about Buhari or Tinubu, tomato is usually expensive during rainy season.
Fresh Fruit
It is heartbreaking! Ajah market its 3 small size for 1k
ReplyDeleteYinmu! PR complaint
ReplyDeleteShe was silent during Baba Buhari administration. Watch many of them complain now when they formerly kept mute.
DeleteMy mum said they now sell 2 tomato fruits for N500 and she was not kidding. How is the poor supposed to survive bayi? How?
ReplyDeleteThank God for “Ofe Akwu”..
DeleteOne paint of fresh palm kernel which has enough oil is #2500..
The worst is that tomatoes available here are those long multicoloured ones that dries up before you even finish boiling the tomatoes,it’s well Jare..
@MARTINS
Problem dey oh and I don't like ofe akwu it feels like I'm guzzling oil
DeleteI have also never liked ofe akwu and it has never been prepared in my house. My niece and nephew will never eat it sef. Now allowance has to be increased because of stew! God help us all.
DeleteTomatoes and Plantain are the two most expensive items now at the market. They're the new 'Gold' now. The plantain I bought yesterday for N2,000 was something I used to buy back then for N400.
ReplyDeleteWhat's really the cause of all this hike in price?
Teejay, it's really not plantain season now...it should be abundant by September. Don't know about tomato though
DeleteBut you people have small space you piss on and other stuff can’t you grow your own? Always complaining
ReplyDeleteHow many you don plant, you think tomatoes do well everywhere
DeleteDuring raining season tomatoes are usually expensive. I'll advise people to learn how to store tomatoes when they are cheap. You can dry them sef.
DeleteWetin make I talk bayii
ReplyDeleteIts well
ReplyDeleteNa God hand we dey
ReplyDeleteWe go dey alright.
ReplyDeleteAbeg make she get out! When Buhari was showing us shege did she complain? Whenever the president is not their person they’ll suddenly start seeing the “wrongs.” Mtshewww
ReplyDeleteShe can afford it unlike most Nigerians who are relying on TIN TOMATOES to survive.
ReplyDeleteThis too shall pass. It's not funny at all.
It's even cheaper in Abuja
ReplyDeleteThat tomatoes 👆is 13 to 15k in my state
Cheaper where?🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
DeleteI don't know why people feel things re cheaper in Abuja when it's usually the opposite, especially in the urban parts.
It is well 🙏
ReplyDeleteAre you just waking up? No bi today na.
ReplyDeleteYou never complained during your brothers regime o
ReplyDeleteHmmm. That basket up there is 4500 in lkj, may God have mercy
ReplyDeleteAll manner of ugly tomatoes will start surfacing
ReplyDeleteI just tire for tomatoes
ReplyDeleteThe tomatoes issue honestly I don't understand it has never been worse like these even staying at mushin where things are sometimes cheap this time around its not funny,as per plaintain issue it is not plaintain season once we enter September at idi oro you go buy plaintain tire but only God knows what will happen this year.
ReplyDeleteIt's not only tomatoes that is expensive now oo, it the whole pepper that are ridiculously expensive God have mercy.
ReplyDeleteBut to be fair, this is the period tomatoes is most expensive in the market, by August, we will start getting plenty tomatoes back in the market, same with plantain.
ReplyDeletePlantain season runs from October to February/March ish after which it becomes gold.
Tomatoes is freaking expensive this period in Canada too, that quantity up there can go for as high as 30-40 dollars, but by August like this, a full box will be selling for 10-15 dollars.
