  1. She even sent people and she is shouting. If she goes by herself, and sees how expensive every other item is, it means she will faint

    1. Tomatoes is gold gold but I just cannot do without them, I find out that almost all meals I make require tomatoes so I decided to mix some carrot to make carrot stew, the next time I went back to the market, carrot has tripled in price🤣🤣

    1. Thank God for “Ofe Akwu”..

One paint of fresh palm kernel which has enough oil is #2500..

The worst is that tomatoes available here are those long multicoloured ones that dries up before you even finish boiling the tomatoes,it’s well Jare..

  5. Tomatoes and Plantain are the two most expensive items now at the market. They're the new 'Gold' now. The plantain I bought yesterday for N2,000 was something I used to buy back then for N400.

What's really the cause of all this hike in price?

  17. But to be fair, this is the period tomatoes is most expensive in the market, by August, we will start getting plenty tomatoes back in the market, same with plantain.
Plantain season runs from October to February/March ish after which it becomes gold.
Tomatoes is freaking expensive this period in Canada too, that quantity up there can go for as high as 30-40 dollars, but by August like this, a full box will be selling for 10-15 dollars.
