HELLO WITH A TESTIMONY

Hi Stella,

I dont know if you remember me. Its been such a long time. I used to send about 2 different people money monthly on SDK blog. I would actually want to know how they are fairing now. If they can email me please.

Wow its been such a roller coaster. ah! but God came through. Do you now those times I was sending money I was going through alot and didnt even have a job? But I had to because I knew someone's situation was worse than mine.

Oh Stella, thanks for using your platform to be a blessing to people. From free adverts, to give aways, you paved the way and so many people benefitted from it, even if some have forgotten. *side eyes*. I personally know a baker that has blown because of this your platform. I personally have sold 2 phones on your platform just to survive and I am forever grateful! Oh is it the TTC prayers that you posted that I prayed with and got pregnant? but saldy lost the baby? how many can I say?

Stella God has blessed me. He has opened doors for me that I never ever imagined. From desperately looking for a job of 70k to now earning millions in naira. For the past 3 days, I have been restless as I have been moved to revive this email and reach out. I understand how tough Nigeria is now, Please any nursing mother or widow with young children I will like to be sending you money annonymously sometimes. Stella please help me choose so my email isnt bombarded lol!

Also, for some years now, I have this thing happening to me. I will just think of someone. The person maynot even be close to me. But till I reach out to that person I wont find rest. I send them money, and when I do, they say things like they were thinking of suicide or that money was a life saver or they didnt know where the next meal was going to come from.

For example, one cleaner that comes once a while to clean for me then. I didnt even know she had a surgery when her thoughts didnt leave my mind for days and she wa suprised to hear from me after many years. And said she was actually detained in the hospital because she couldnt pay her bills. Also, a tailor that just amended 1 dress for me in a far town I went for a wedding and took her number to know when to pick it up. Only for her to not even remeber me at all but said she was going to throw herself in the well because hardship was too much. This is just 2 out of many o!

I am religious yes, but not a spirikoko lol! when it happens its so strange. Does anyone have an explanation to this or anyone experiencing this? So I know how to nurture it better. God bless you all on SDK!

Good day Stella,

 Hmmmmm you see women eeeh, they can pretend and lie for Africa, so I get this friend, not a close friend per se, we are close because I pack my goods at her balcony, and she's from my state, so I noticed she has a few little secrets and I have been digging to find out some of them, though it's not my business but when you start telling things that makes you look like a Saint and then me the devil or highest sinner, I may need to know you better too,

 First I noticed that her two older kids are not for her husband, yes, and their upkeep is solely on her but she still de fake am de go, una daddy this and una daddy that, secondly I also noticed that her husband has another wife and he lives with the wife and hardly comes around to see this friend of mine, so she uses the opportunity to share am to Tom, dick and Harry and yet denies it all.

There's this particular man that comes to my shop, he asked her out cos she's extremely beautiful, she would smile in the man's presence then tell me behind the man that the man is not her class and she can't cheat on her husband, I go de believe her ooo, so yesterday, the guy came around in the morning cos he works with Nepa, he said he had things to do for her in her meter, he passed and later came out in the afternoon and asked me to give him hot drink to wash his mouth.

 I gave him and he rinsed his mouth, thereafter took gala and soft drink to eat, so I come de wonder wetin him chop wey him de rinse mouth, so later in the evening, my friend came around and we were gisting as usual, she gave me her phone to see one style of cloth she wants to sew, as I was browsing through, na so one message enter the WhatsApp, na the Nepa guy, and she don waka go front, Omo na so I touch the message, e open, what I read and saw yesterday, my head burst.

my friend de gbensh this Nepa guy on a daily, yesterday Oga was rinsing his mouth because he licked kpekus, and he texted her that "how e de do you today, you be wan kill me today, my lips and tongue hurts, I enjoy how you scream and moan, I just pray your neighbours won't catch us one day, lol"... 

That was the message he sent her and then I saw their other dirty chats and the one's from the other men too, no wonder her phone is always on lock:

 Stella I want to confront her, I saw a chat with her first son where he told her "Mommy, why are you still putting up with this man who knows only his own kids and doesn't care about us, even my sister that is living with you is suffering, she called me the other day she's no longer happy living in that house because your husband acts like she doesn't exist" and the mom responded, "don't mind your sister, this man is hardly in that house, you will not understand, please let this issue go, am begging you ", so I want to confront her, a part of me is begging me to mind my business, so that she will not stop me from packing my goods at her balcony, but I wish you were there when this woman was mocking my situation eeeh, she said she's happily married and can never mess with her home, whereas both her and her home is a mess

Dear Bvs, i am writing this with a heavy heart in order to correct a comment Zaram made on a post some days ago when a bv wrote the story of a 13yr old girl that was molested and is now pregnant, that a girl child needs protection.

Bv Ali, in one of ur daily nuggets, you wrote about contentment, i must agree with you. Many parents have failed their children because of greed.
Now to my story and why i have a heavy heart.
Where i live, there is a boy that was molested by a man who was working in the boy’s school. The act had been going on for sometime. Eventually, they were caught in the act, investigation took place and the man is still locked. It was found out that the man had many victims and has been gay for a very long time with more than 50 partners.
Guess what? The boy is now HIV positive.

Before all this, the man heavily spent on the boy, he would buy him expensive things including changing his phones regularly, underwear and all, when the attention of the mom was drawn to how her son was flexing despite not having any job and he had just finished secondary school, she said that her son was working for that man. Which job? She couldn’t say, and the abuse continued, until they were eventually caught. She was so heartbroken when the news broke out and it was found out to be true, her blood pressure shot up and she had been sick since that time. She couldn’t take it anymore, got a heart attack and died.

The saddest part of it all for me is the fact that the abuser was the colleague of the victim’s dad. He also has a wife and kids somewhere, he goes to visit them from time to time. The guy had been HIV positive for a very long time, without ever informing his wife of his status.

For God’s sake where is trust? When did we get here? And lest i forget, investigation revealed that the man had other victims in the school, all young boys.
