These people ehn. Na wa. The person that will benefit from this fame is already benefiting from it, all ye copycats, trust me, little or nothing will come to u. Ask Dami
ReplyDeleteThey should continue playing.
DeleteThey're not playing, they're bent on rubbishing her records. Hilda better watch it.
DeleteThat's how someone was "pretending" to love me, I sold out little secrets of the pp I was doing, my sweetest side hustle selling resource materials for language learning, the next thing, fiammmm the APP scrambled the whole modules.
People are meannn. Nigerians eh.
Hmmm.
Wow! Naija no dey carry last o 🤣🤣. GWR is telling us it's enough with the a-thon.
ReplyDeleteThis is why peeps no dey show others way. Just do it and be successful like this. Next everyone wants to shook head. This happened to me already. And the worse is that in business when they encounter problems they will still come to you for help like we dey share profit. No originality. Infact you will even get enemy join on top your own idea. I have seen too much abeg.
ReplyDeleteSo correct. Within few months of doing business. Three people opened shop for the exact same thing I am selling. One even opened directly opposit me. Everyone go dey alright one day
DeleteZaram, I see nothing annoy me so even though I don’t do business. If someone is selling veggies why can’t the other sell the pots and kitchen items, another sell coal and gas, another sell the cutlery, dishes, placemats, glasses and toothpicks? No, they all gotta do the exact same thing then wonder why they ain’t swimming in sales. I cannot stand someone with no originality.
DeleteI’m my little street are 6 Provision stores some adjacent to each, the rest almost opposite each other! They sell nearly same items, nearly same price as well the problem is!!
DeleteShop 1, owner is JW, if you are not a sister/brother just get your mind ready for preaching before they will sell for you.
Shop 2, a Muslim owner (adjia) to buy from her you must be nicely covered else, she will not raise her eyes even through the veils.
Shop 3, owner is a bored grandma whose children all live abroad, she opens when ever she feels lonely and needs people to gossip with as money is not her problem at all.
Shop 4, owner attached also a cold store and veggies to hers, if you want certain provision you’ll have to buy something either from the cold or veggies store.. she’ll tell you she sells her stuffs together (her items are nearly market prices).
5th shop: owner initially sold coal, water and beverages.. she later saw how often the van that suppliers wheat bread to the stores comes daily and big eyes set in.. she started selling bread codedly, when you ask her why she says it ‘goes with drinks’.. from bread to sardines, to biscuits to mosquito coils, soaps, etc… now she has a provision store alongside.
6th is the man for the ‘Young-ies’ ,, he opens late in the evening, staying up till sometimes 2am…I sometimes fear for him not to sell to ghost….. lol. So, the five (5) stores each have their own wahala, if you like gossip you have a shop to patronise, if you are ready for religion brouhaha then the other shops are there for you. The only problem is, they register your face so. If you are seen buying from the other then you are OYO pray it is not urgent else you have to visit the market (which is quite far from us) OR, you wait for the evening ‘Guy’ to show…. Lol.. different area, different competition, different mentality.
Ms K.

ReplyDeleteNigerians are very good at 'photocopy.' Once you do anything and succeed, they will all dive in and try to out do you, even if it is just to prove that your achievement is no big deal.
ReplyDeleteThe situation is very pathetic,it depicts the rate of frustration and poverty in the society, the willingness to try anything to survive,it shall never be well for all responsible for the plight of this country
ReplyDeleteThat is our unspoken cultural way of doing things na.
ReplyDeleteJust start anything rewarding, you'd be surprised at how many that will join the foray without knowing the nada about it.
Typical Nigerians! Even in careers. I remember when it was the public health career wave. Everyone and their father and mother were studying public health till it became saturated.
ReplyDeleteNigerians go tear that book
